HTML - Connecting To Web Service (.asmx) Using Html
I'm trying to create a HTML website and I want to make it so it will call a web service (.asmx) that is located on a remote server (so the HTML page is hosted on a different server as the web service). The web service currently has one webmethod (HellowWorld) and all it does is receive a string then returns another string.
I was wondering if anyone have a tutorial or sample code that I can follow to do this? I'm not having much luck looking it up (might not be using the right key words). When I view source, the html is their from the meditation page, but the PHP + CSS that I am trying to connect don't appear to be in right. Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you I want to make a form that when you type in it it doesnt show what you are typing, i want it to show "Albert please answer the following question" and then you type a semi colon it goes into another box (irrelevant) but when you type a ? in the second box the actual phrase that you typed in the first box (the one that was hidden by my phrase) to come up under the whole thing, and then when you hit the "new question" button it should reset itself. i figured that the way you could do this is by connecting the first box with the answer box but i cant figure out how to make this happen iwhtout using php. I have used them in the past and had nothing but problems, and I will never use them again. -I do not have a business license or account set up yet. I haven't really made any $ off my site yet, and I need to before I get the license and open a business account. -I need this set up quickly. I have already missed $250 of sales today because I do not have a way to accept credit cards, and I will lose at least $120 tomorrow too. -I will need to withdraw the funds every ~2 weeks. I know some services won't let you withdraw as often. -A place that will accept e-checks is great too. -I am comfortable with (X)HTML, but my php skills aren't the best, so the easier it is to set up, the better. I was using radio buttons, but am open to anything. (This is an assignment from the university btw). If that matters in any way. I am making a website with different functions. One of them beeing a text box, where you can input a number. And a javascript will square the number for you. The textbox appears as normal on my website, and I think the javascript should be good, but obv if anything is wrong with it please feel free to comment. When I enter the number and press enter, the only thing appering is the raw code of the javascript. Nothing happens basically, so obv im wondering what I have done wrong. Hope someone can help me. But now I noticed that when my pages pull up in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. They still show the old .HTML links?? When they click on the webpages from the search engines results you get error 404 page cannot be found. Many thanks Hi, so I'm trying to make this e-mail newsletter. It's entirely images, tables and text. So no javascript, just plain stuff. I tried attaching it as a signiture file and I had trouble sending it. It also didn't come out right. I'm trying to avoid using a software. Its basically just a block of HTML I need to show up as the only content in an email. If you just put HTML into a email text field, it just shows the HTML code in the email as text. Any ideas? Hi everyone, I've been searching around the web trying to find out how I can send using Outlook a html and text email newsletter automatically. I am quite happy creating html only newsletters, and text ones for that matter, but I have been digging and believe that by using multi-part code I can send to both and the recipients email client "allows" whichever version to be displayed - does this sound right? I'm hoping to simply create the html with the relevent mime references and boundaries (dont know what they are but have seen them on enough Google'd pages to know that they mean something!) and then copy and paste into Outlook - the newsletter is only going out to a few people at a time. He did a lot of "upgrades" to the site so he says, but he left. Now I am in charge again of re-modeling the site. The problem is I am trying to figure out why there are so many dead links.
