HTML - Help Please. Page Jumps From Right To Left On Load!! Driving Me Crazy!! =(

Hi, I am trying to build my daughter's website on geocities and for the videos section I am trying to use page jumps DIVs. I am using mozilla and everytime I go on it the page jumps and the DIVs is all mess up and I don't know what's wrong with it then I tried going on internet explore and my codes worked on there but just not on mozilla. Does anybody know what I can do or change? I am currently using the basic html DIVs and page jumps.

Hey all, me and my friend have a cleaning company and we deciced to make a webpage. It's been a good 6 years since i have worked on a website. My biggest accomplishment so far was getting the contact form to work properly on the site. It does, i feel like i've done alot lol.

Anyway, the current design is a rough layout (suggestions are welcome). It still needs a lot of little touches to make it look more "full". My biggest concern now is when your clicking from page to page the table jumps around. In firefox, the Contact Us and Services page are perfect, nice and centered. The image i'm using where the navigation buttons are is in place as well.

When you go to the other pages though the table moves a bit and it looks like the image i'm using where the navigation buttons are starts to repeat.

In Internet Exploder, everything doesn't look centered. There seems to be more space on the right than on the left, but the image i'm using for the navigation buttons seems to be fine, it's not repeating.

I dunno what's causing this. I know different browsers display stuff in different ways but i'm far from having a good understanding as to why (that's why i'm here). I even copied txt from one of the messed up pages and pasted it on one of the pages that is ok and that didn't work. I assume it's a CSS thing.

Also, try and avoid saying things like "Table designs are for teh n00bz!11!" or "This is why CSS is better than using a table design!!!". This is how i did it. Im ok with CSS but i don't have a thorough understanding of it to design an entire website using CSS. I'm hoping this is an easy CSS fix, or maybe something else?

Hello, I'm experiencing a small but annoying problem.

My html form works fine when the submit button is an "ugly grey button" (input type=button), but when I try changing the button to show a nice jpg (input type=image) the form still submits ok, but the page always jumps to the top.

This is annoying, because people should be able to scroll down through the page, click the button, and continue scrolling down to the next button.

I am having the worst time trying to figure this one out. I created a site for a hair salon and every time each page loads for the first time, it jumps from right to left. Does anyone know why it is doing this? There is an example link below. I've tried reducing the amount of tables, removing the Rollover JS and replacing with CSS and making tables exact width instead of 100% but no luck.

As of right now I have it such that when a navigation link is clicked it loads a whole new page. How can I do this such that only the "main text" area (which sits inside a table) is loaded?

This is an unusual one, but I have converted two Excel files into HTML files, and I also have a HTML page with some information on. I have a live of code which controls the auto refresh of each page.

Is there any way that I can set this so that when the page refreshes, it loads a different page.

The pages are part of a display screen that will show stats and info.

I would like to set it so all three pages rotate/change every minute or so.

either link for the spheres opens a shadowbox.

the sphere on the right shows the issue the best

the page that loads is the issue.

this problem was around before recent shadowbox upgrade.

there is a submit box that i have used code to have the box clear when clicked.

when the page loads, it ensures that the submit box is visible.

this causes the page to autoscroll down so the box is visible.

is there an approach so this does not happen?

and the other links: Order online, testimonials, about us, and contact us all render exactly in firefox, however my products page gets shoved to the left a couple of clicks for some odd reason. I narrowed it down a bit; it seems as if its only letting me to post a few paragraphs until it does it, meaning i can remove the animation and some paragraphs, and it looks the way i want it, but when I add the paragraphs back even without the slideshow the problem persists. I had a page, in that i moved the tables to center.
after moving the tables to center i found the white space on the left and right sides of the page.
Now i want to fill the white space which is on the left and right sides of the page with the black color.

I'm just starting to get into HTML / CSS and I had a question I was hoping someone would be able to give me a hand with...

The page I'm working on has a logo in the top left corner that gets cut off when the browser window is reduced to a smaller size. The left navigation bar, however, always appears in the browser window, regardless of size.

I'd like to have this left side "anchor" to include the logo so that it always appears.

Please let me know if you require additional information or if I have not described the issue clearly enough.

I have a little problem here.. should you visit my site using IE (don't myself ) it will start loading then randomly say "Cannot open <webpage>". This is very irritating. Does anyone know why this is? Has it happened to anyone else? For the moment, I have put up a temporary home, but the old one is here for you to see. It works on Firefox when the user agent is changed, so it is a IE-specific problem.
