HTML - Form Processing Scripts

I would like to know how to process a form so that submitted forms are sent to my email. Somebody said that I should ask the system administrator for the web server hosting my site, but the domain name sellers don't seem to know. I want to just paste code into my HTML so that it works. Previously considered methods have been: <form method="post" action="mailto:youremailatemail.com"> is not recommended as "the user requires an email package to be installed and configured". Using "form-mailer" CGI programs: You have to supply information including your website's FTP id and password. I don't know know to get these. Any ideas how I can get round this? For some reason, only the last one is submitted. What is wrong with my code? I've been working on editing a template for someone, and got it how they like it (almost). The only problem is I get an error a few times 'Error Processing This Directive'. I wonder if it has to do wiith tables, as there are plenty of those (I need more experience working with tables). It doesn't show up offline, but does when I put it online on the server. I did a search, but all I got was more pages with the same error rather than a solution. Does anyone know how to fix this? But, I want to find the perfect place to handle my online payments first. Here are my guidelines: -I hate paypal! I have used them in the past and had nothing but problems, and I will never use them again. -I do not have a business license or account set up yet. I haven't really made any $ off my site yet, and I need to before I get the license and open a business account. -I need this set up quickly. I have already missed $250 of sales today because I do not have a way to accept credit cards, and I will lose at least $120 tomorrow too. -I will need to withdraw the funds every ~2 weeks. I know some services won't let you withdraw as often. -A place that will accept e-checks is great too. -I am comfortable with (X)HTML, but my php skills aren't the best, so the easier it is to set up, the better. I was using radio buttons, but am open to anything. I am working on dreamweaver cs5 translating an affiliate site. The directory that contains all my website folders and subfolders has many identical pages, in html and in php script. For example I have the same page in the aboutus folder named as index.htm and.......the same page exists in a folder called templates with a different name as 4v4567opjfh.php. Now...yesterday i did synchronization in dreamweaver (ticked the delete remote files not on local drive) and suddenly my website was completely ****ed-up…. I then deleted all the ftp content and re-uploaded using a back up copy BUT the browser now only reads the 4v4567opjfh.php file and not the index.htm….. Any suggestions on what I should do in order to make my browser read the index.htm and not the php script? Many thanks! Like <p> but forget the </p>, etc? Hello all mates! I am working with my forum trying to properly edit the html for the posts so that they will display any custom script/html of my choice. I want this to appear in ONLY the first post in every thread. I am also trying to find out how to make a bot that automatically posts another second post in every thread, with my own custom scripts/html. At the moment I am trying to add some adsense ads this way. What I am looking for is two things: 1 - How to get the adsense ad aligned to either right or left of the text within the first post. 2 - How to get an adsense bot autopost an ad as post number 2 in any thread (including being applied to all threads already existing) I am using IPB3. I previously used Adsense Bot for IPB2, and that worked fine, but it is not supported for IPB3. It uses the Universal Mod Installer, and in IPB3 there is a new "hook" feature to ass custom mods etc, but I do not know how to alter the code for the Adsense Bot to work with IPB3 so I am trying to get it done from scratch by adding codes directly into the templates. If anyone know how to configure / modify the old Adsense Bot to work with IPB3 that would be great of course, so I am attaching it here just in case someone wants to take a look at it and its documentation and scripts. But primarily I am looking for the two mentioned features, one is how to get the script running in ONLY the first post of every thread - at the moment I got it running, but it is global and implements into all posts not only the first. I also have figured out how to make a script appear, such as an ad, between posts, but not after ONLY the first post, nor how to make a bot that posts a post just like any member, which is what I am really looking for when it comes to that part. This works perfectly for adding my desired custom script embedded within the posts. The problem is that it gets embedded in ALL posts and not only the first as I would want. Here is a link to my forum for an example on how it looks: http://www.conspiraciesforums.com/fo...ic/3-atlantis/ I know I have to edit/add some code regarding post counts etc to configure it to only affect the first post - my question is how to do that? And as seen, the second post shows the ad as well, here I would want a bot to post a post containing another ad - between the first and third post of every thread (which will be standard members posts). I have messed my brain with this for more than a week now trying different things, looking around at forums, googling, trying scripts and so on, mods etc, but as of yet have not found the solution to these things for IPB3. This is what i get once tested... its out of order... Help me plz...... Im not good with those thingz.. I have a simple signup form on my site that I want to pass the input to the larger signup form. Ideas? Hi guy, I tried to do some googling before i come to here. the problem is that i don't know what are the name or keyword for this, therefore i cannot find any relevant result. Let's say, i have many same html with different file name file filled with tables that i dont' want users to open and use it. Can i create another separate forms using html to fill in the blanks on the table cell maybe after i click submit button? Or it's easier to use VB to write a program and do the job? Please help. |
