HTML - Does Anyone Here Know The Code Used To Post An Image In A Topic Title On Xmb Forums?
I've seen it done before.. so it is possible to do. And I need to know basically instead of a topic title with text, you'd have an image. I don't think it was just <a href="img"></a> either because I tried that. And yes, I've searched on Google as well.. anyone have an idea?
Also on a side note, are we allowed to have sigs on this forum? Similar TutorialsI was curious to find out, where can i find a cool looking shoutbox code where i can put on my message forum? I can put the image in a container which has "direction: rtl;", which works in Firefox but doesn't in Internet Explorer. Any clues? Thanks! hi, how can i add an image in title of the page (in title tag)? and in the adress bar? please help Hi, I've got this issue. I've got a thumbnail of a post of wordpress on top of the title of the post. I want to so the thumbnail is to the left of the title. so its like this: ----------- | Image | Title ----------- Here is the link to the website: I tried putting in the tag align="left" to the image but that didn't make a difference at all. I would appreciate the help. Hello, I am new to the forum, my question is, how do you get the little image that shows in the title of the web page and on the browser tab? Thanks Chunk Hi everyone I have read a few articles on this and I would like to explain what I am doing. In the site I am developing I have put the sites logo in a div and in the CSS I have put the image of the logo as the background-image. I would like to know if there are any tricks when adding the alt, title and long description tags? I am also using a h1 inside the div with the logo bg image with a text indent so the text doesnt show. This helps with SEO. The div is also clickable using a technique I found at BonRouge: http://bonrouge.com/br.php?page=faq#divlink I would just like some opinions please? I have given the div a title with the logo's name inside the title. But can I do more by adding an alt tag and long description? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks! Hi Im new to the forum, it looks like a great place, would be very grateful for your help I am looking for some code to make up a contact system. When a user clicks on a link or button in my website it forwards them to my contact form and in a field in the contact form it pastes either the items title they were enquiring about or the page they had been enquiring on at the time I found a javascript function that may be able to do it called dopostback but after reading some forums I am concerned it will hinder web crawlers from crawling my site Is there anything equivalent in HTML or other language that could achieve it? Regards Jamie Hi, Folks! I'm a newbie.. and have a quick question about where to post a question... This is my FIRST website.. so forgive me if I don't use the correct wording on things. I created a gallery.. and when I click on the pics.. it takes me to an error that says the page can't be found. I would like to link it so that when you click on the pic.. it opens up the pic.. and doesn't take me to that page. Can anyone tell me where I can find out how/where to do this? Thanks so much! Jen www.tattoosbycamel.com I'm about to post something about DIVs and CSS but I'd want to know how to properly show my code in the post to make it easier for those who'll reply. Hey everyone I was looking for some help. I am totally new to this but I want to set up a forum of my own. Now I only have a basic understanding of html as in I can use framesets and basic tags. Can anyone give me a helping hand at getting started, once I have the bear bones I am sure I would pick it up quite quickly. I have the latest versions of dreamweaver and frontpage but i still only use notepad, shoul I change my ways and use one of these? basically i really want to learn so any hints or tips would be great. Thanks in advance. Hi- I'm about four days into doing various tutorials I have found online. I'm trying to do a website for my business. I'm not even remotely close to getting to the point of what my question is about but I would like to design my site so that I could integrate this later. Please excuse me if this isn't in the correct place or I ask using the wrong terms. Here's my question: Is there a cover flow (like iTunes) code, script or whatever it would be that I could use on my site for visitors to view pictures of projects I have completed? Thanks- I want to create text boxs and radio buttons, but i dont want them being submitted to my email. I would like the answers to the fields to be transferred to the bottom of the page or a different page. can any one tell me how to do this or read where to? i can only find info for submitting it to my email. Hey guys! OK here's my prob, I made a role-play website using html where I have members who joined the site, before I went public a few friends joined to help me test my site out, so I made a forum so we can all chat but the problem is all my members have to resign up to chat in the forums (Very Annoying). So I need to know is there a way to link my forums to my website so that all my main site members stay in the forums part of the site so that they only have to sign up once (does that make any sense?). If you have any tips or info let me know I'll be very grateful for all your help. Thanks. ^_^ I have made my site using html and css. I wanna make forums but dont want it to be external and want it to be part of my html page with same header and foooter. I DONT WANT IT TO CHANGE HEADER OF FOOOTER oF FORUMS. In other words I mean my forums to be integrated in html or when I click link on my html website in the same page the forums come. Any suggestion would be appreciated I'm looking to write a form with input fields which, upon submitting, would post to a specific forum. Now, I'm not sure if this is some kind of javascript trickery or something (I am far from familiar with JS). Here's an example of this page: http://www.violentrevolution.net/e10...y/survey.php?2 Now, what happens upon submitting that forum, the information is posted to a forum where clan members can discuss the application. I'm looking to replicate that function, but I've gone over the code and I can't seem to see the modularity of it (i.e. changing the forum to which it posts). Thanks for any help in advance. i got a template i been modifying , still under severe contstruction. http://illusive817.sitefrost.com/Demise/index.html i want the the Recent Post box to read the most recent posts ofcourse and would like the popular post to read the most popular not sure how to link it to the forums Thanks , i got smf forums already installed , or i can use phpbb , either one is fine Hello all, I am a beginner and I am trying to create images horizontally that are also links. Hope that makes sense. This is the code that I can get to work but the links stack vertically instead of horizontally. However, if you click on the post's title (so clicking on the individual post) the images are replaced by the alt text and the Amazon US is strikethrough. How can I get around this? If you need any more details, please let me know - I'm an HTML novice... Thanks for your time. |
