I really feel like I've messed up around the 'SPAN' area, but I'm really stuck as to how to remedy this. Thanks so much guys! Hi, not very good at HTML. Need help. Currently have laid out my site design all within a table. Inside that table there are two tables on the top side by side out of which one is aligned to the right. Below these two tables I have other tables all aligned to the left. PROBLEM The top table aligned to the right, it is 160 width pixels by 900 pixels length. I want to keep the other tables below it exactly where they are but as this table grows in length, the other tables keeps getting pushed down. Hope I am clear. Pls help. Does anyone know if it is possible to have an Offline mode for a web program, for instance, the situation is, that we have an online ordering form that needs to be completed daily, and we wish to create an online version of this for the required users to log in and complete this, however we need to know if there are any methods or ways that the user can still log in and fill out the form, ideally submit it, without the need of an internet connection, if event of the internet cutting out occurs. If this is not possible, Does anyone know of any alternatives? I have checked the jpgs, and they are the same in these respects. The codes for each page are identical. Nevertheless, when you toggle back and forth from /bands.html to schoolofrock.html, there is a discernable shift in the placement. What gives? Thanks for your help in advance. Best, Chris. And I am simply wondering how this can be done? In a way which enables the waveforecast to progress downwards out there, without pushing the other tables / content downwards. Please help me... its very urgent Thanks & Regards Karteek Challa I'm in charge of doing the coding for a site that's been designed by a graphic designer with no knowledge of code. I like his designs, and the client wants me to make the site look exactly like them. They're .psd files representing each page. He sent me almost all of the images, but not the background and not certain key decorations (the guitar pics). I told him I needed the background, but his hard drive died (without being backed up) before he could send it to me. He doesn't seem to remember what font he used either. In light of all that, and the fact that the client wanted to get a basic version of the site up asap, I just converted the PSD's to JPEG's, uploaded them as whole pages, and used div's and image maps to add links and additional content. But that is obviously not a long-term solution. In fact, it's causing browser compatibility issues right now. And it's not accessible . . . etc. So I need to replicate these page design images using HTML or XHTML, and CSS. I can probably find a similar background and font to work with, but I just don't know where to begin. I haven't worked with CSS in years, but it looks like I'd probably need to use it. I'm not asking anyone to do my job for me. I'm just wondering how you would approach this task. Does anyone have time to look at the images and point me in the right direction?
