HTML - Count Plays/clicks On Songs?
Hi! I'm a html novis in need of a helping hand.
I'm a musician and I use my homepage as my "portfolio" for live gigs etc. Everything works more or less as it should but I'm missing a key feature; I want to see how many plays each song have. I've got a click-counter that works on html-links, but my songs are played in some kind of flash-player and I cant implement the click-count feature on it... I'm stuck! Anyone have any kind of idea on how to solve this? Anything goes; a totally different player, "ugly html", whatever let me see how many plays each song have. My current player looks like this: http://i34.tinypic.com/10yj238.jpg And the code looks like this: Quote:

I'm very thankful for any help I can get! Similar Tutorialsi have a friend in a band who wants to be able to email a link to labels interested in their music. the email would also contain a username and password that allows access to an album. is there a simple way (basic HTML coding) to create a login process on a web page? any help would be appreciated. i'm not entirely skilled in web design... i've built two sites and am mainly a WYSIWYG type of designer. i'm continually honing the craft, so basics are what i need. thanks and sorry for my ignorance. ira I got all my html files set up and file directories correct, however my audio files simply won't play when I sync the actual website in dreamweaver. They play just fine if I double click the html file to open up a local version of the website. EDIT: They play fine in Internet Explorer, but not Firefox, both updated to latest version. =/ Here is my code: Code:

Music_river

Does anyone see what's wrong? =/ Hi Is there a way to hide my url when a user clicks on a link on my page that directs them to another site? Basically I don't want other web-sites to see that visitors came from my website. I have a website that I'm using as a test project of sorts. The link is he http://www.RyanzLair.com/OnTheFarm/index.html What I'm wanting to do is, when the user clicks on one of the thumbnails, for there to be a dynamic text box above the image in the main window that will also change depending on the picture. Basically I'm wanting to caption my photos. Right now I'm using a php script to load the pictures into the main window (so I don't have to create a separate page for each image). I'm new to all of this, so I don't know if you need me to copy and paste any code or what not, but I can get whatever you require to help out. Thanks! hello, I'm working on a site with a lengthy online application. When a user begins the application he is told to use the back and forward buttons on our form (not on his browser). We find that users still accidentally use the browser buttons and when they do a "Webpage has expired" error page comes up. This error page is not part of our site and is a dead end. I'm not a programmer so I don't know the specifics. I take it as a given that that browser buttons cannot function normally in our application, but I'd like to know if there is a way to get control of the error page that comes up when users do click their browser buttons. If we can show them a page reminding them not to use the browser buttons and put a link there to get them back to the application it would be a big help. Thanks I myself am a beginner at html, and I was wondering if someone could (if possible) make it so that when a user clicks an image, the image will change to another image and will change back when someone clicks it again? I am looking for a way so that when a user clicks this: It turns into this: And back again when clicked again. I need this to show for all users too. So if a user on 1 computer clicks the button, it switches, and then a user on another comp sees the images clicked, and can click it to change it back to normal. Is there a way this is possible? In Javascript, PHP, or mysql? Thx Hi New to the forum, but think this might be the place for questions like this.. :-) Have a problem with a facebook statement I'd like to use in my learning-project to handle comments etc. The commenting module is workin perfect, but the statement to get the number of comments have problems in IE-browsers prior to v9. Probably I'm doing something wrong in the wrapping, but I need someone to tell me what... The statement should according to FB be pronounced like: Code: <fb:comments-count href=http://example.com/></fb:comments-count> And the result should be a number (stating the number of comments) In my site I've wrapped the statement in a number of span's like this: Code: Denna post har <fb:comments-count href='www.hvid.nu/patricks_blogg/post/{url_title}'}</fb:comments-count> kommentarer Producing the line: Denna post har X kommentarer. This works for ALL browsers exept IE8 and down, where the rendering totally stops after the fb:comments-count -statement. (it works for IE9 by some peculiar reason) Anyone have a clue on how wo wrap this in order to have IE to understand? Best regards /Patrick Hey, Newbie to the forums here... Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Louis. Hello, I have actually no clue about html but I was wondering if it is possible to make a simple count up that looks like this: 10457 litres of water saved Whereas the number of litres counts up constantly let's say by 1 litre every 5 seconds or so, based on the current average water savings. Is this possible to do in html? Thanks W. Hi, I am a noob at programming. But I am making my site at the moment where I am uploading pdf files. Could anybody tell me how I can do a view count (please be simple and assume I know not much). Best, Lovjit |
