I'm a devoted Dreamweaver user and she created it HTML style. I need help because I can't figure out why it's not showing up in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Netscape. It shows up in Safari, but that's not going to satisfy our client. Here's the url: http://www.kwph.com it's the logo under the About Us section. Thank you for any help Jordan www.discoveryfilmsuk.com/uc the above website is absolutely flawless in firefox but blindingly invisible in IE. please can the gurus here help me make amendments to the script to make it compatible with other browsers as well. thanks. Hi. How can i make a layer visible from an <a>-tag? I've tried: onclick="layer:visible" but I can't make it work. Anybody tried this? Parashurama Hi, I'd like to have an arrow button which when clicked on; collapses/opens up some text. Like an expand and collapse code for some area of text. I hope someone can help me, this has been driving me a little crazy trying to work out what is going on. Basically I've built a little website for my inlaws http://www.cornishsunshine.co.uk using HTML and CSS written using DreamWeaver CSS5.5. Everything shows up fine when you preview in FireFox/Chrome/IE/Safari etc, but when I have published it to the web in IE the alt tags show up instead of the .png's in the left hand DIV. This only happens in IE8, in the other browser's the .png's show up as expected from the preview. I'm completely new to HTML(Day 2 of learning), so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I've been trying to create some text that would become invisible and different text would become visible when a name was moved over, and I can't seem to get the visible attribute to work. For example: <font visible=false>some text</font> I would assume the text would become invisible, but it doesn't appear so. So, I'm wondering if there's a tag that has a text attribute to make this work? Like: <tag id=name text="some text"/> So I can then call, name.text="", to make the text disappear. Any suggestions? Hey, i want to make an iframe Object invisible but still clickable. Is that possible, and if yes, how? Im using Dreamweaver CS5 greetings Phil Can anyone tell me if the following is possible, and if so, how do I do it? I want a list of bullet points, but if one of the bullet points has no text then I don't want the actual bullet graphic to be shown. Not the best explanation so I'll elaborate. I'm pulling the bullet data from a program using a keyword/macro so my code looks like this. HTML Code: <ul> <li>{{BulletPoint1}}</li> <li>{{BulletPoint2}}</li> <li>{{BulletPoint3}}</li> <li>{{BulletPoint4}}</li> <li>{{BulletPoint5}}</li> </ul> Works perfectly when all five bullet points are populated, but if for example, there are only 3 bullet points with text, I get the bottom two bullet graphics just hanging there with no text next to them so and the final code looks like this HTML Code: <ul> <li>This is bullet point 1</li> <li>Here's another bullet point</li> <li>Only 3 bullet points for this particular product</li> <li></li> <li></li> </ul> Can anyone help? Does anyone even know what I'm talking about? Hi, I am Loading two frames in a page. Here is the sample link where I have the problem http://vivek192.5gbfree.com/index.html ____________________________________ sport book betting steroid Okay - I have yet another issue (what else is new) but this one is not life or death... I set up a page of bios - with photos - and I put a little frame (border) ".5" around the pics - the frames are not visible in Safari or in IE... as I said this is not particularly too terribly importante - but is there a fix for this? well the title should say it all: "Is it possible to have a text link that is not visible for the 5 seconds using html" if this is not possible with html is it possible with something else like css or java script *nos should say not in the title I have a simple slide over menu for navigation in a div. Safari and Firefox both work. ON IE it's shifted over to the right a little more and the slide over menus wont appear. Any options? Hi, I recently put up a new website at http://oubeta.org/ . I just realized that it works just fine in Firefox, but not in Safari. Would someone mind taking a peek at the source code of index2.htm (the page you go to after clicking on the main logo, or just he http://oubeta.org/index2.htm). Only the background image shows up in Safari, and none of the other content. Thanks Ok, this might be simple, but I can't figure it out! I have created a table, which looks great in Safari/Firefox but looks horrid in IE. This screen shot is Safari- http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...Picture4-2.png This is IE (looks rubbish, and jumbled up) http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...od4/table1.jpg This is the code: <div class="boxout"> <h2><font size="3" face="Verdana" color="white"><i>Drivers Standings</i></font></h2> <br /> <font color="white" size="2" face="verdana"> <u>W P</u> <table border="1" RULES=NONE FRAME=VOID> <TABLE CELLPADDING=5 CLASS="tealtable"> <tr> <td>01 </td> <td>Lewis Hamilton </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>02 </td <td>Felipe Massa </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>03 </td <td>Kimi Raikkonen </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>04 </td <td>Robert Kubica </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>05 </td <td>Fernando Alonso </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>06 </td <td>Nick Heidfeld </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>07 </td <td>Heikki Kovalainen </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>08 </td <td>Sebastian Vettel </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>09 </td <td>Jarno Trulli </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> <tr> <td>10 </td <td>Timo Glock </td> <td>0 </td> <td>0</td> </tr> </table> <br /> <p><a href="#"><font color="white" size="2" face="Verdana">Click to see whole table</font></a></p> <font color="white" size="2" face="verdana">W = Wins | P = Points </div> Any ideas?
