HTML - Html E-mail: Technophobe With Notepad

Hello!
I was hoping somebody here could help me. I am quite confused. Here is what I want to do: Create an image in photoshop or a similar program, and save it as an HTML, so I can send them in an e-mail. It will be a newsletter. I know there are sites I can go to that can create them, but I want my own layout - and plus they charge for their service.
All I want is a free jpg to html converter. Is this even possible? If so, can u shoot me a link? Thanks in advance!

i've made that layout with inline CSS and absolute positioning, but Gmail messes all up!
I've read that i need to use tables, but how can i overlap the logo GIANNI BACCEGA FOTOGRAFIA to the background image (the light)??
with tables they appears one on the right and one on the left, but i need the logo to overlap a bit the background...

any suggestions?

Hey guys I've been browsing for awhile now and I have finally joined up with a pretty basic simple question. I used a form generator to make this signup form for a group my friends putting together (long story lol). Basically its all generated and looks awesome.

The issue is I have added this to the top

When i click submit however nothing happens... I dont have an email and it doesnt move forward or anything. Of course I never programmed another page after but heres some code from the bottom.

I have been asked by a client of make an e-mail for their product that has email elements in it like a picture and a logo that use HTML elements pretty much a page that you open in your e-mail window.

I often get discount mailers from many businesses that do this kind of thing.

I know a bit about making HTML/CSS pages but I have never done an e-mail that has that look to it. Does anyone know the process I would use to assemble something like that?

I want to create this website, using the mailto tag, the user will input the info in the text boxes then click on the submit button and mail the information to what ever email I specify in the mailto tag(is that correct, can malto do that?). But I want to take it a step further and the email in the textbox the user filled out it would be sent email about more information on what they came to the website for, can this be done in html? if so how, hopefully this made sense to everyone.

My server switch me from Windows platform to Linux. now when I pull down one of my pages I have lost all my spacing formats. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

I've been writing all of my HTML in notepad since I started, and Id really like to keep it that way, but the browser seems to treat line breaks (in notepad) between elements as a space character in certain instances.

For example, say I have

in the browser, that will render every image on the same line, but with a physical white space between img2, img3, and img 4

example:

in the past ive just sucked it up and put everything on the same line, but in larger projects that gets messy very quickly...

Without having to use the client installed.

Only problem is that the submit button isnt doing anything.

For some reason when I right click to edit an HTML document, it uses Word instead of Notepad. I have no idea why it is doing this. It is like this in both SmartFTP and Windows Explorer. How do I change this? Thank you!

Has anyone else had any problems when using notepad to edit code created with an WYSIWYG editor such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver? In particular, making links, that are correctly coded, work? Something even odder, is that this problem only occurs on the index.html page. If I rename that page the links work just fine. I have asked this same question in other forums and no one seems to have a clue. Has anyone else encountered this or have any thoughts?
