HTML - How To Code Html Email Newsletters

I wanted to code HTML email newsletter. Can any1 help me out? Thnx in advance... Similar TutorialsEDIT: Resaved the code via Notepad as .html and that worked. A simple misstep. However a whole new slew of problems have come into play, such as incompatibility with different email programs on varying browsers. Here are the "highlights" I would like to address. Gmail: - Background color on gmail is removed. - Most CSS is selectively modified in gmail, such as h1-h4's size and colors and link colors. Windows Live Mail: - Just a blank email, no text, no nada. Windows Live Outlook: - Another blank email. Yahoo Mail, AOL, Thunderbird, any other email provider: - Need to test The goal is to get it looking like this: http://www.delta-visions.net/dvshare...letterdv1.html I've tried resolving the no background in gmail, but the tutorials on how to do so are just above my head and seem to have no effect when I attempt them. Hy all, I've managed to make a pretty decent newsletter using only basic-html and no stylesheet. It looks fine in Outlook and Hotmail, so I'm very curious what it looks like in other mailclients. Do you guys now if there are programs on the internet that enable me to look how my mail shows up in different mailclients? Any advices?! Thanks in advance! Just a brief question regard HTML emails - I have made this sample design and coded it with inline CSS styling. Just two things - one: is the code terrible?? I read that some email clients knock the header and body out of the email code so inline CSS is the safest way to go. Second, does the design stink? It's entirely images, tables and text. So no javascript, just plain stuff. I tried attaching it as a signiture file and I had trouble sending it. It also didn't come out right. I'm trying to avoid using a software. Its basically just a block of HTML I need to show up as the only content in an email. If you just put HTML into a email text field, it just shows the HTML code in the email as text. Any ideas? The "mailto:" code is fine for a link that has people send an email, IF they are using a non-web-based email program such as Outlook. But if a person is using, say, hotmail, and doesn't know how to configure hotmail as their default email program, how can I write html code that will take them to this kind of web-based email site for writing their email? I would like to know in the email that I send, I need the html to pick up some dynamic content from another website and when the email is being displayed, it needs to show that dynamic content I could have used iframe in the html template - but that would work on websites, but not on emails. Thanks hey guys im after some simple help i think. i have created a .psd for a html email i wish to send. i have sliced it up to how i would like it and i created the automated html. It all show ok in all web browsers and most email clients but not outlook 2007, i know there is a lot of issues with this email client but just wondered if you guys know any way to work around it. If i keep all the slices horizontal then it all fits fine but on the vertical ones which i need it kinds shifts them over the right so there the while vertical lines running through the page. i have attached the code any help would be more then appreciated. Everything works fine except the link I put in it. I need to have a link parents will click on which will take them to a webpage which will automatically register them. When I test it (on my Mac - sorry ... a real computer) it works great, but the parents of my students say the link doesn't work.
