HTML - Animated Gif Ads
Hello
I'm adding some animated GIF ads to my website but many of them will not show up when i insert the code. Occasionally the first frame will appear in preview and disappear, but most of the time there is just a blank (but clickable) space. I have tried uploading my pages to the server to see if its an editor problem, but they do not appear live either. I've not used animated GIFs before so am wondering if there's something obviously wrong i'm doing? my website is www.totallyrichmond.co.uk. i do not have any "failed" ads uploaded, but can do that if it would help! Similar TutorialsI'm sure this question has come up before, but is there a work-around to make animated gif rollovers play more than once in IE? In FF, the rollovers play every time you mouseover (or, they start over). Here is my first attempt at a website from scratch: www.andymcginnis.com. You will see what I mean by rolling over the links. There's kind of like a waterfall effect. Thanks for any reply I visited some sites that had these animated people that look at the mouse and speak and tell the message. where can i get one for free? Hi all, I am created a sliced page within Fireworks however I have made a animated gif which I would like to add to the page. I'm lost as to how to do this, when I copy and paste the Gif into the main image page, it just shows up as a standard picture, with no animation. Do I have to slice the page first, then add the animated gif within Dreamweaver, or can I place it as I would any image within Fireworks, then slice the entire page and export with HTML to Dreamweaver? Any help would be great, thanks in advance. Hello, I would like to create a dynamic infographic, basicly it will look similar to this sample > http://i52.tinypic.com/2i0rn2q.jpg But what i want is to either fade or grayscale the complete image, and then make only sections of it fade in upon hover, as well as getting a tooltip popupbox with som etext. You can see a good sample of a dynamic infographic here (although without the tooltip function) http://www.factoria.it/metodo/ Hi I wasn't sure whether this post belongs in the HTML or Graphics forum but I think it is HTML code I need so here goes; I have a problem regarding the coding that will place an animated banner on my website. Currently, I have a jpg banner across the top of all pages and the code that places it there, held in my z-header.shtml file, is: <tr> <td class="headerbg" colspan="3"> <!--the header is linked to the homepage. You can remove the link tag if you dont want this. Dont forget to take out the </a> tag at the end, as well--> <a href="index.html"></a> <div align="center"> <img style="WIDTH: 956px; HEIGHT: 110px" title="return to homepage" border="0" alt="return to homepage" src="image-files/Garden-Design-Pictures-Banner.jpg" width="966" height="119"> </div> </td> </tr> Now, somebody has created a .swf file for me and it is now up to me to integrate it into my site. The animated banner can be viewed he http://www.calamitycreations.co.uk/SteveBarker.html - I intend using the lower NoLoop file. I tried copying the code from that page and stripping it down but it didn't help me. I've only ever written simple html so I really don't know what to do. Please help!
