I think that if you help me to understand the correct approach to the first page, I can then apply it to the second page. Thanks for any help, Dan So i'm not very good at this stuff, somehow there is an extra white line below the initial title and the three sections. I know there's a lot of garbage in this code of tags that don't need to be here, this code has been constantly edited and by different people and none of us are experts, so a lot of random tags are left around. Possibly one of them is causing the issue. To simplify things, in this example of my code I have removed all the text and links and what not that someone that visits the site sees with "data data data" as I believe they are irreverent to this issue. Here's a screenshot of the issue on the website: i have a sitecube.com website... i am not as educated as you others so i could not build my own site, and i could not afford a better site. here is the scenario, i have access to change add html code in the meta information? if you visit my site. pasadenawealth.com you can see i added a twiiter widget, a mortgage calculator and a wiki widget. below those widgets you can see the designer websites by sitecube.com 2005-2007.html site i want to remove that, as i feel it lowers the overall look of my site, customer service refuses to remove it.... BUT while i was adding in other html codes in my meta information i once incorrectly entered some html code and i believed it removed it. but after i fixed it, it came back. anyone have any ideas? maybe adding some sort of end code, or do not display anything below code. i am very html illiterate and any help would be greatly appreciated thanks! In IE 7, some of my pages are displaying white space at the top of the page. Some pages show more than others... I cannot seem to figure out why. Hi all, I'm not an html guru by any standards. I have a problem where my page shows a huge gap between the movie and comments area. Can anyone advise on this? The page is made up of a frame, so that I can have an advert at the top of the page that scrolls down as the visitor scrolls down. The problem is that when you go to the page there is a large gap at the top of the page. I have checked the code, but I cannot see what could be causing this. Any help would be appreciated. For some reason, I have a lot of extra space at the top of my page. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? I taught myself HTML, so I'm not the greatest at it, but I get by. My problem is that on a page I am currently working on (and it's happened to me in the past as well) there is a small space at the bottom of the page that shouldn't be there. It's weird because it's there when the page first loads, but when I refresh it goes away. But why is it there in the first place. There's no stray <br> tags or anything and this is very basic HTML code, including tables. I don't see any other sites with this problem, what in the world could it be? I just asked a friend, and I don't think he's seeing it. The space is very noticeable. It's kind of embarrassing, a wrestling related page, but I'll include the link. I am using Internet Explorer, by the way. And I just noticed than when I click the link in my bookmarks, and hit "open in new tab", the space isn't there. Just odd. Turns out a "space" at the end of the link text pushes the text upwards slightly. Simply remove the space (or add on to the other line) or use the space code [ ] The css also plays a part, this doesn't appear happen when text is "unformatted" |
