HTML - Helpl With H1 Tag

Hi all.

I have a site at:
http://www.polopony.com/index.php

If you look there, the slogan in the middle is different sizes, but the spacing is single.

If you go to
http://www.polopony.com/index2.php

The slogan is still different sizes, but I put it in between h1 tags, and it made the spacing double. I can't find anything in the code that says it should do this.

Any help you could provide would be much appreciated =)
