HTML - Ssl Error Due To Code Issue Somewhere
If you go to https://www.bkriegtech.net/?page=login You'll see the infamous unsecure connection error in IE. I have no idea where this is coming from since every image on the page loads as https. Any ideas?
Similar TutorialsI have designed this HTML home page with a table and it is coming up different in IE8 and Firefox but comes in fine with Safari and Chrome. The navigation area labeled "testing" in navy blue should have a width that reaches from each side. When opening in IE8 or Firefox, it comes up short and I cannot figure this out. Can someone look at this simple code and tell me what I am doing wrong? Hey i recently opened a blogged and wanted to begin customizing it with shoutboxs , games, etc Blog is runned by Mac OSx , it allows u to post html as well, but 98% of the html codes i put in there doesnt work...the ones that do work , well they seem to have <table> inserted in them...and strangly one of my posting options is to insert a table, so when i click on that *insert table* i paste my html code(shoutbox) and click insert (for table) and all the codes seem to work fine and shoutbox looks great, until i cllick the <>(htmlm mod) everything seems to go back to where it was before i started testing with table (which is that it doesnt work), this is only if switch from normal to html and back after i insert html codes through table...but if i just paste the Html codes for the shoutbox into *HTML* section, it shows up as the link that i use to gernate these codes...this happens with every one of my html codes including the ones that do work for the blog and dont work for the blog....So im stuck with HTML codes that only show up when the *insert table dialog box pops up and i insert html from there to blog.(which cancels html codes in the end)..From the table with the successful HTML, if i click Save,HTML mode, or Preview, it just makes the codes void..I think that when iclick any of those commands, the blog messes with codes Does anyone know any great codes to bypass w/e the blog is doing to my codes or simulating the table forever with the codes? The site's front page has a small section for text, the developers added some placeholder text in this spot. Thanks in advance Hey guys, Im currently working on a project for university and something is bothering me with this nav bar that i have created. I guess you can class this as CSS as well as HTML but i was wondering who could help me out. As you can see with image one things are looking alright, buttons are consistent with no gaps. This is because i have the images within a div and the background colour set as the same to look consistent. With image 3 you can see what would happen if the background colour was removed. Now the problem that i have is within image 2, when you stretch the window it stretches the background colour, the thing i want to do is wrap the div around the images so the colour stays behind them and only them as well as having the buttons centred. I've managed to get most things with the layout working okay, but having issues with my footer-right section (About Us page links etc). Hello! I am having an issue with an unordered list resting beside an img. For some reason the bullet dots for the ul are inside the img instead of beside the text. I realise that my error is most likely something simple, but I have been staring at this darn thing for over week (it's a homework assignment) and I still cannot figure out what I have done wrong. Also, I just noticed that the bullets are much closer to the text when it is viewed in Google Chrome instead of IE 9. Hello. I'm a new user. I've done a couple different sites and I'm working on completing this one. There are a couple issues. In FireFox everything appears to be how I want it. I had to do the logo in an odd way. The top part is a background to the div that the Donate button appears in. The bottom part is an actual image. I did it this way because I couldn't use spans to get part of the image on the left and then have the Donate button align to the right. The only issue with it is when the user makes the font insanely large(Using the font resizer), there gets to be a gap, but then again when the user makes the font that large everything starts to become odd. In IE, this logo is split with quite a large gap. Also in IE, the top of the site is a little banner, which also has a large gap between that and the next bit of the site. It does not currently validate, throwing issues that the document does not allow <ul> where it is. I am not too sure why it won't let me. I have the unordered list nested within a span, nested within a div in order to get the site to flow properly. Another reason it does not validate is because apparently the W3 validater doesn't like SSI. Anyway, client has a site that was built recently by another crowd. Works well in IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera etc etc but the home page doesnt in IE6. This is an issue because the sites target viewers are apparently mostly using IE6. OK so i have made this template and so far i like it but i have come accross a bit of an issue http://marlosweb.com/templates/test/contact.php OK so you see that little black bar on the left of the navigation? Well i want that to span the length of my page but 100% height wont work because CSS requires that the parent element has a fixed value. Does someone know how to cure this? |
