HTML - Wp-archive Page Not Showing Older Posts

Hi:
I've designed a Registration Page for the new users of my site.

When my new user enters a bunch of registration information (into my Reg Page) , *but* makes an error, I then wish to re-issue this Reg Page with all the info he/she entered for corrections, instead of just re-issuing the 'blank' Reg Page.

I understand cookies can do this (?) -- but I know minimal about their use.

Also, I am able to use my CGI program (its written in a superset of C and has great string-processing functions) and edit a copy of the reg page and place all submitted data back into the appropriate fields of the reg page -- But this is an *onerous* task.

Question: Is there a *classic* way I should be doing this replacement task ? Or is there a different method that I could try.

I placed this html code into my web editor by first uploading and saving the image as a .png file. Here is the code I used:

Hello, I realize several threads have already been posted and that many of you dislike tables. I am having, however, a table issue that I think is only solvable through HTML adjustment of said table. In FF and IE8, my homepage looks excellent, just how I've laid it out. However, in earlier versions of IE (which the majority of my demographic still use), the layout of the table is askew. The remainder of my page is made up of various Flash movies, and I have tested that these are not the cause of the layout issue. The 2-cell table I have is being thrown for a loop (laying itself out to the right and stretching the site), and I'm not sure what the cause of it is. It needs to be left-aligned; below is my code:

I'm unsure what the "scroll 0% 0%" through "-moz-initial;" is, the CMS I'm using has thrown that code in. (BTW - cannot get out of using CMS, which I would dearly love, this is a work project, so use what I'm given ) Here is why I think I still need to use a table: I need to be able to align two images (a photo and a border) but be able to insert text on top of the border. I had originally created this in Flash, but I totally spaced that I needed some text on the homepage so Google can index the text correctly. Is there another option to accomplish what I'm trying to do, one without tables? I appreciate all other options! Thanks!

About 3 quarters of the way down, if you click on the slide panel 'button' under lake louise and smith dorrien, it slides down but the text of 'slide panel' changes to being squished on the right hand side and the list on the left doesn't end where it is suppose to. It is pushed a bit down which I think is what is causing the text in the button to be messed up a little.

I've checked it many times and even copied it from the other parts where I have used it on the page but it still does the same thing...

Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to fix up my carpet cleaning website. The bee.png image in the top left of my menu bar is giving me problems with older browsers & most hand-held devices, e.g., iTouch, cellphones, etc.

Is there any kind of trick (hack) I could use so that it will properly align with all devices?

I made an html web page using mcrosoft word but i can't seem to figure out why it only shows up as code when i preview it or upload it to the web. Is there a small step im missing?

I saved the document as .htm and as .txt and i tried to add doctype but i dont know what else i need to do

I have a problem with my website. I have been using Firefox as testbrowser when I developed my site, and when IE users open the site it is shown differently. Have a look at these screenshots:

The problem speaks for itself and you can see in the filename which browser was used. Don't mind the white bars, I have just drawn them to hide some information. I use basic html image maps to create the links for the menu, and the problem occurs after these are added. As the website is written in php, the HTML code is generated by the server. These files contains the generated code:

If you compare the two files, you will find that they are equal, so why does IE not show it correctly when Firefox does? Obviously there must be a bug in my HTML code, but where? Can anyone help? If I know where it is in the HTML file I can correct it in my PHP file.

Can someone point me in the right direcction as to why this page of my website does NOT show anymore correctly in Firefox ??! All the other pages of the website seems to show fine !!!

I am building a website in dreamweaver cs3. It displays normal in all browsers except an older version of IE (I think 6.0). I have read a bunch and have learned about float left and left margin problems with older IE versions. Nothing has helped so far. To make a long story short if you view http://whatwowart.com the right column where you sign up for newsletter etc. gets put under the whole page in older IE (I think 6.0). If someone could please help me I would really appreciate it.

In the links on the left there is a page called "Solo Albums" - this is the page I'm having trouble with.

As you can see, I've made tooltips over the images listing the tracks of the albums. I've decided to make them position underneath the image.

However, when they are activated they are shifting the entire page around.

Is there a way to make it so they simply appear OVERLAYING the rest of the page?

when I have created a page for the band i want to offer them a url to directly link to their page but still show the entire frameset (index.html) what would this url be or how woul i go about creating it?

Hello. First time here asking for help. Hope there's a solution!

The site in question is http://www.jason-bradbury.com/Design.html. It's my first attempt at web design and I'm stumped.

The goal is to present my art portfolio in a horizontal scrolling layout with a fixed header and footer. Ideally it would look identical across the many browser platforms.

On a Windows laptop, my page looks and functions as it should in the latest browser versions of Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox as long as there aren't a stack of toolbars enabled. If toolbars are present (mostly in Firefox), the footer gets truncated and the page will not vertical scroll to allow it to be seen.

So my first problem is getting the vertical scrolling (for the entire page including header and footer) to appear only when necessary in that situation.

On my Mac Pro (I have not been able to test a Macbook yet) the page appears normal across the board with Safari and Firefox (have not tested Chrome or IE)

The second problem is that in all versions of IE (and older versions of Firefox prior to 4.0) the page is displayed incorrectly.

In IE, the header is missing, the left margin is way off and a vertical scrollbar is present for the body (again, if the vertical scrolling was for the entire page it wouldn't be so bad). As for the horizontal scrolling, it is very sluggish in IE.

Firefox only has the vertical scrollbar in the body problem and since the header is shown in that browser, the body overlaps it when scrolled up.

The page was originally designed in iWeb and then I had to tweak the code in Dreamweaver to get the fixed header and footer.
