HTML - Embed Youtub Video & Hide Play Button/control Bar?!?

I have placed the code as below

Hi folks,

I have two related questions so I'll ask both in the same post.

My first question is I have a video that I show using the <embed> tag. For example

<embed width="540" height="350" src='../media/movies/police_chief_intro.wmv' autostart=true>

Now, the video plays fine but what I experience is one of the frames near the beginning is displayed first and the video played over top of it. The pain is the image is larger than the video. Another pain is it only really does this in Firefox.

My second question is how do I remove the controls from the video player? I use the same code as above but add controller=false. They don't show in FF and perhaps some others but in Safari they are still displayed.

saw some web pages where the video inside came from youtube

The whole page was from their own site but the window that showed the video was from youtube.
almost like a window into youtube for just that 1 part of the page

can this be done with just html?
area maps?

I really need to do this. My host server gives problems when I embed a video, It would be great just to use youtube

But I have downloaded few videos and i want to play those videos in offline mode(without internet) by giving compelete path in Windows/Mac.

I am trying to replace my existing flash videos with newer ones. These newer videos I converted from Quicktime to swf. I replaced the video file name with the newer video file name and it uploaded fine.

There are a couple problems though. It doesn't have the Play, Stop, etc controls at the bottom and it is on a loop.

I have been using the script below to make it so that a random image is displayed every time the page is refreshed or accessed. It has worked very well, but what i am wondering is does anyone know how to make this code adapt to embedding video urls, so a random video would be displayed from the list whenever the site was accessed or reloaded? I have tried several variations without luck. I am not really a coder so most of what i do is trial by error, but i was hoping someone else might be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you!

I'm having a really odd problem with the html audio player. It looks fine if I don't click the play button, but the moment I click the play button, it would disappear and reappear around 15-20 pixels lower. Here is my code for a simple audio player:

The same problem occurs for an audio player that I've set to hidden, and will appear if I click an arrow and disappear if I click another arrow. It hides it and re-appears fine, just the player shifts down 15-20 pixels if I click play...

Im having trouble with some html code, if you could help out that would be great.

What im trying to do is put an activeX control into a .htm page and use a html form.

The .htm uses the activeX to read a .txt file, and displays the data in a table, with headings, descriptions, images, and a text box used for selecting a quantity.
Then at the bottom of the page, I have made a simple send to email button, and a reset button.

However my problem is; I dont think the code for the form is enclosing the whole table.
