HTML - Custom Browse Button For Html File Upload Form Field
Is there a way to put a custom graphic for the browse button in the file upload field, similar to how you can use a custom graphic for the submit button?
Similar TutorialsI need to add a browse button to my webpage which has the same functionality as that of the Browse button in windows application. Is there any particular Java API for same, or can it be done using javascript Hi guys. I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm by no means a web developer, but owning a business I tend to learn a little of everything - probably just enough to be dangerous. I'm trying to post a page that will have survey questions for all the brides that come through our boutique. The form has to be able to handle the normal form stuff - text fields, check boxes, etc. - but it also has to upload a user selected file. The idea is to get a bunch of feedback as well as a shot of the bride in her wedding gown. So, we'll have testimonials and accompanying pics. (I'm warning about copyright issues on the form). A prize will be randomly awarded to one of the survey participants at the end of the whole thing... once the promo is over. So, I've got the form pretty much done. But, I need a script that can handle the results and stores the images in such a way that I know what survey it goes with... make sense? Help me out here, I'm stuck. I have a browse button when user selects a file i want to display the files attached in a table with attached filename and date. can anybody tell me how to generate table dynamically. I need an way to upload a file by clicking a link instead of button(<input type="file" name="somename"/>). This feature has been newly added to GMail, to attached a file we need to click a link. Would it be possible to have a button(like a type=file) that browses directories only, but instead of uploading them, just displaying the path as a text, so when my script picks it up, it just reads the text? EDIT: What I'm talking about is very similar to this thread, but i just want them to upload path so when the script emails the data, its just a link to the path on the local server and my other question is: 2. If a user enters data in a text area, like i am writing in this, when my script picks it up, it does not seem to get the newlines at the end and just displays it all on one line, is there a way i can go about fixing it so that it gets passed(or even converted) to exactly how the user entered it? EDIT: I've tried using wrap="physical" tag but I've been reading and some people say that it doesn't work..any suggestions? Hello, I would like to develop a Browse button on a website, but normal Browse button will allow you to browse and select a file from your computer, but instead of this i want the browse button to open a folder on the server and then allow the user to select a file for download. However that file does not get uploaded.... can anybody help Hi, I've encountered this problem, and been struggling for few hours. Thing is, I have a form with enctype="multipart/form-data" and 2 inputs with type "file" in it with names RequestForm[doc1] and RequestForm[doc2]. When I submit the form, only the first one of the fields is sent into $_POST. If i comment out the 1st field, then only the second is sent. This thing is just killing me! Could someone help? What might be wrong? And yes, I do need 2 inputs, not 1 multifile input. I made the form and the page but the problem is that when I upload a file the form gets submitted properly and it goes to another web page that is set as the action on the form however the file is nowhere to be seen! It essentially tracks the sales of an affiliate, and you can set up commisions and pay them monthly. The techneque iDevAffiliate uses to get this done is much like a lot of other online affiliate programs I've seen. An affiliate get's his/her own special link to our store that they can direct their traffic through. They can put the link on their website, give it to a customer, or just hand it out. This is a good way, but I needed something a bit different. What I need: iDevAffiliate gives the affiliates their own special link. This link is the same for all affiliates, with the exception of the last 3 charachters which happen to be numbers. I want to create a page with 1 small form field in the center where a customer can come, type in those three digits, and the rest of the link would automatically be added upon submission. So, I need a form that has the capability to take what's typed into a the field, and add the remaining part of a link, then take them to it. Any Suggestions? Instead of passing the value START to "cmd" within "page.cgi" it passes the x and y coordinates of the image where i have clicked. To start, I should probably mention I have no experience or knowledge with HTML or coding. I am trying to create a paypal donate button for our website. I would like the user to click the button, then be prompted to enter their in-game username, then be directed to the paypal checkout at the price that I set. The username that they enter will be included in the paypal order options.
