I am using iframe inside my site, but i have to choose width and height myself.. when i set it to auto, i still have to scroll. Heres my site: http://habbxtra.net HTML Code: <iframe src="hjem_frame.php" width="450px" height="1200px" name="mainframe" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"</iframe> Ive tried changing height to auto and not setting a height at all, and setting the height to 100%, but when i change to 100% in width it wont show, and when i chane haight to 100% it doesnt do anything, just the same as width auto. Thanks for any reply ! I don't know if this question is posted somewhere, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. I'm currently using iframe for my posting entries, and I can't figure out the script for auto height. I'm tired of setting the height by hand, every time my entries starts to stretch. Now regarding the width, would that be possible too? if not, I'm not too concerned. Most important is the height. If anyone have the answers to this please reply. Thanks in advance! (: HI is there any way to disable the maximise button in mozilla firefox. I use this code and this is able to disable the maximsie button in IE but not in mozilla. My question is, is there anything that I can do to streamline this process? Is there perhaps a way to use a script to dynamically generate code like this from a plaintext file? When I do one of these pages, I usually copy the lyrics verse by verse, then translate them verse by verse like this: Alza tu cerveza, brinda por la libertad, bebe y vente de fiesta, pues el Infierno es este bar. Raise your beer, toast to freedom, drink and come to the party, for hell is this bar. SO... is there any way to make this easier on me? Thanks in advance Hi I have a web site which captures visitors details currently using Formail, the online version. This ensures that all fields are entered and sends the information to me in an e-mail. The web site was created in Net Objects Fusion version 7. I have some web design experience but not that much. I can ammend HTML rather than start from scratch. I am testing a product called Salesforce.com which has the ability to capture leads and populates a contact management database which you use as a sales tool. This has the advantage of doing away with the e-mails, having to print them off and re keying the data into our current sales sytem. Salesforce.com lets you generate some HTML which you plug into your web site, which I have managed to do. However, it does not validate the fields so someone could leave everything blank which would then create a blank lead record in Salesforce.com. I have been told that i need to amend the HTML by hand but do not have a clue where to start. If anyone can either help me out with the HTML or suggest a better solution I would be very grateful. The HTML it has generated is below <!-- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --> <!-- NOTE: Please add the following <META> element to your page <HEAD>. --> <!-- If necessary, please modify the charset parameter to specify the --> <!-- character set of your HTML page. --> <!-- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> <!-- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --> <!-- NOTE: Please add the following <FORM> element to your page. --> <!-- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --> <form action="https://www.salesforce.com/servlet/servlet.WebToLead?encoding=UTF-8" method="POST"> <input type=hidden name="oid" value="00D2000000060Zj"> <input type=hidden name="retURL" value="http://www.withdeanfc.co.uk"> <!-- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- --> <!-- NOTE: These fields are optional debugging elements. Every time the page is reloaded, the background colour within certain areas of the page will change to one of a series of pre-set colours. Usually this is all background divs or table cells that have been earmarked for this colour change, but how on earth do you set that up in html? Any ideas? in the past when ever I have string that is longer than the width specified in the <td>it always automatically line breaked for me. But now I am encountering an issue with the <td> stop auto line breaking, and instead just increase the width of the table to make the string fit in 1 line. if anyone know whats possibly causing this problem please reply, any thing suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks can i have fixed layout for only some part of a table? I want the first column of my table to be "auto" and the other columns to be "fixed" llike style='table-layout:fixed;'. How can I achieve this? Thanks! Hello, I'm trying to create a little page that auto updates itself whenever new files are added. The system is layered such that I have the top level index.html file, then in the same directory, I can add new folders that contain other index.html files. What I want to do is have the top level index.html file pick up every sub directory, grab the name from the directory, and then create a link to that directory's index.html file and then display it in the top level index.html file. So what I have right now is this: HTML Code: <body> <a href="myFirstDirectory/index.html">myFirstDirectory.html</a> </body> There is other stuff, but this is the part I need help with. As you can see, I also want the name that is displayed to be the same name as the directory. I do not know how to automate this if I have other folders in there like directory2, directory3, etc. Can anyone show me an example of how to do this or walk me through it? Thanks in advance. Please help ---------------------------------- Hi, I want to get the dynamic heights of some html divs. I am not programmatically applying height to them (so I don't know their values). If I fetch the height in mozilla I am able to fetch the exact value in px but in case of IE it gives "auto". How do I get their exact values? Please help ------------------------------ Hello. I am creating a website that has a frames layout as follows: _______________________ | ..................................... | |______________________| | ..... | ................................ | | ..... | ................................ | | ..... | ................................ | |___|__________________| |______________________| Basically a header, a footer, links/navigation on the left, and the page in the center. My problem now is that I created this site in a high resolution (1280*1024) and when viewed in 1024*768 (standard for a lot of PC's I think), the Links frame becomes scrollable which is very ugly, and since the height of the header and footer are fixed, the main content frame becomes very flat (narrow is not a problem). My question now is: how do I assign fixed heights to the left (links/navigation) and the main content (center, right) so that if this webpage is viewed at a smaller resolution, the center and links frames are not individually scrollable, but that the ENTIRE page is scrollable (so the footer is not in sight, but at the bottom of the page). I'm not sure if the above is clear so I will say it again: main content and links are no longer scrollable (even in 1280*1024) but the entire webpage is scrollable. The links and content frames have fixed heights, and if this heigh it larger than the window size, the footer goes down and the entire webpage is scrollable. Thanks A LOT for your help! |
