HTML - Help With Spaces In Tables
i cant seem to get rid of the space between my two images in this table to align my layout images flush with each other . anyone got any ideas? here is an example of what my problem is:

Example: <table> ... </table> <table> ... </table> When you want the tables to be placed next to each other, you need to set the align attribute. Example: <table align="left"> ... </table> <table align="left"> ... </table> BUT: When you do it like in the 2nd example (tables next to each other), in Firefox, the tables will wrap to a new line if there is no more space. In Internet Explorer, the tables will not wrap. The result is a horizontal scrollbar or "hidden tables". Why this? How can I make the tables wrap also in Internet Explorer as it does in Firefox? Is it possible with a special CSS definition or with a special DIV/SPAN tag? When I finished composing html code (spam assassin ranks it only with 0.3pts) mail was ready to be sent. I hope you can help, thanks! I've been writing all of my HTML in notepad since I started, and Id really like to keep it that way, but the browser seems to treat line breaks (in notepad) between elements as a space character in certain instances. For example, say I have HTML Code: <img1><img2> <img3> <img4> in the browser, that will render every image on the same line, but with a physical white space between img2, img3, and img 4 example: [1][2] [3] [4] in the past ive just sucked it up and put everything on the same line, but in larger projects that gets messy very quickly... any input that i'snt "use something better" is appreciated, thanks. Hope I put this in the right section. The website I'm creating has a shopping cart. Respectivley there's a "view cart" button in the menu bar. But when I put the button in the menu, a blank space appears underneath the table like it's a break line. I viewed the page without the button and everything's perfect, so I'm pretty sure it's the form. I've tried putting the form itself into a table will zero-value margins, but it didn't seem to do anything. Is there anyway to get rid of the blank spot? I'm probably missing something. I have searched this and other forums and tried everything I could possibly think of to fix this. The space doesn't appear in any browser except IE, and unfortunately I need to make the site work fine in IE as well: http://www.mountwernerrealty.com/index3.html On http://www.thomasmckee.com/scroller.html, how can I align the image of the car to the left of the scroller with no spacing between them and the total size be 960w by 150h? I mean, how do I butt them next to each other? If you can, will you email your answer to thomas@thomasmckee.com? I used the "clear pixel trick" to put space between some links (see code below). It works, but the thing that bugs me is that a blank space remains at the beginning and end of each link (except for the first link, which only has a blank space at its end).
