HTML - Stop From Jumping To Top Of Page?

i'm using 6 iframes in a page

my page has scrolling

whlie i click a link on top most iframe
the page has been slide down

the scroll bar comes to middle

I have a quirky problem, and it exists with many of my sites. It involves Firefox browser, as well as Chrome.

Here are the conditions of the website pages that have problems:

1. Page is fixed width, centered in the browser
2. Google AdSense is present on the page
3. Browser is either Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer doesn't present any problems.

When the page with the above conditions is loaded, the page shows up at the RIGHT of the browser, then shifts to it's proper location in the center of the browser. This occurs every time a page with adsense is loaded, and can be irritating going page to page.

Please use Firefox browser, maximized on a monitor with a greater width than 1024.

There are five working tabs with examples, four of them have adsense on them. The one without adsense does NOT jump, and I'd like all the pages to emulate it.

I"d appreciate any direction to solving the problem. Firefox and Chrome are rapidly increasing in popularity, and I'd like to solve this rather quirky problem.

I have this widget that a friend made for me. It allows the user to select the colors on the bracket bands on a picture of a mouth full of braces. If you grab a color and click on individual teeth - no problem. If you click on one of the buttons that colors all, top only, bottom only, odd only, even only, etc. When the button is clicked the page resets to the top.

Any idea how I can make this not reset?

The widget is html - it is on a php page. any help would be appreciated.

I have a page that has links that are embedded into SWF games and the like. Is there any way to stop the DOCUMENT from allowing navigation off of the current html page. What I want to do is not allow any navigation to any other page once I am on a certain html document.

Hi trying to throw down a couple of buttons along a line, but for some reason my second button gets put down to a second line instead of going right beside the first one. I changed over the <div> tags in the recommended button code to <span> in an attempt to stop the line break, but it persisted.

I know this is kind of an obvious question for all you guru's, but how do you stop your web page from shifting when you change the size of the window?

So everytime I add a picture or text my website page gets "longer". I then move the text or picture with the "div" tag so I can position it where I like. But the webpage is still the same length as it was before I moved the object. So How can I stop the page from getting longer everytime I add text or picture to it?

My question is this, is it possible to link to a specific line or piece of text on another page, as the above example only works on the same page.

I with the # it always want to jump to top of page. I know there is code that will prevent this, but i forgot what it is?

I've been running an ad on my site using the Google Double Click program since March with no problems.

Suddenly this week, despite not even logging into Doubleclick or making any changes to the code on any of my pages, one of my larger ads is jumping outside of the space allotted for it and into my text. To make it even stranger, it will only do this periodically. IOW, sometimes the ads are being served correctly, but sometimes they get messed up.

Continue to hit refresh as my ads cycle until my large green/yellow square ad to the top left of the center column for "The Raw Food Lifestyle Ebook," appears.

Keep hitting refresh over and over again. It might take a dozen times or more. I've seen this happen in firefox and Safari. I've cleared my cache.

You'll see that sometimes it appears within its normal area, but sometimes it "jumps" out and partially covers the text to the right of it.

Since I haven't done anything to my site or my doubleclick settings , I don't know what to make of this.

I've already sought help on the Doubleclick forum, but the consensus there seems tobe that it is not a DC issue, but an HTML issue. You can see lengthy discussion about it here.

Let me know if there are any other questions.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

I have display:inline and its adding in two drop boxes that it shouldnt. After the drop boxes it then stops the inline. Im new to css, have only been trying it for the past couple of days. The two drop down boxes are suppose to be on the left, under the links at the top. Can someone explain to me why inline stops where it does? Thanks. I am using the body onload to open a new window but is it possible to check if the window is already open and if so to not refresh it as I am using it as a music player and hitting the home link starts it off again. Any suggestions and if so as much detail as possible would be greatly appreciated :-)
