HTML - Alert Box Question?
I'm not sure if this is the right forum - I just signed up.
But my question: I'm making a video for youtube that is going to require a couple of websites (I'm making) and an alert box. I've gotten the alert box to say what I want, but I want to change the 'title' on the box. Code: <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> alert('Error-Internet is full. Please try again later.') </script> It says, for the title, "JavaScript Application". Is there a way I can edit this? Thank you! I use a Mac and use Firefox and Safari and the site looks great on them, but on PCs with IE6 or 7 it looks pretty neglected and ugly. I was wondering, to discourage people from using IE6 or 7, is there was a way to display a banner or text box (Using HTML) at the top of the page that would be displayed only if the viewer was using IE? I am new to CSS and I was wondering if I need to upload my CSS files to me web server, and if so do they need to go into a special directory on that server? Thanks Hi, I can't believe I joined here in 2005 haha. I hope someone can help me with this. I'm not sure whether this is done with html or CSS but how do I achieve what's done on this page: http://www.slashthree.com/artpacks/view/1572/ So, any sort of navigation menu is on top and when you scroll up and down the content moves but the menu does not. Thank you in advance! Hello, Is there a method to use a text file to update information on a couple pages at once? I have a "news" section on each of my pages, but whenever i need to update the news i have to change it on each page, which gets very long. I think i remember doing something awhile ago where i would have code in the news section that would read the text file; so i could simply change the news in the text file instead of every page. THanks for the help, JC Hi guys! Im new to this forum so don't expect much. Im wandering is it possible to load html document without your browser or an html editor. cheers Connor |
