HTML - Website Counter Question

Thanks for looking at my issue, what i am trying to do is as follows!

On my page

I have a quote form up the top, that works fine, i then added a section where models could send me three photos, when you click on these tabs it loads the photo up, but all i get is an email with the photo names but NO photos? What do i have to put in my script to make it so i recieve there jpegs, and not just the name of the file? Can this even be achieved? Basically i want the photos that a model submits to be delivered in my email address the same as my Quote Form above?

I am learning HTML partly through opening the source code and reading it. But I wanted to test something different today. I used the source code for a site with a horizontal menu with white letters.

When I added it in a html editor (and also opened the source code through notepad), the menu showed up vertical and had just plain text with the standard blue color.

Why does this happen, and why doesn't it show up exactly like it does on the website?

I have a web site on which i wish to add a page with a news-section. By that i mean a blog-like section, where i can post updates about events and products etc. So something like:

<the date of the news>
<body_text>

etc.

Then i wish to make it so that the posts i put in this news section are automatically sent as wall post to the firm's facebook page (which is in turn sent to twitter, but that is already working).

I am completely new to blogs etc. but know how to code html, css and java and a few other languages.

Is there a way to do what I am looking for, easily? Is that something wordpress is for?

Hello, The department I work for recently asked me if I could add a search tool to the front page of our home page. Unfortunately, this is new to me as I've never had to (or tried to) do anything like that before. At this point I'm not sure where to begin or if it can be done with the home page we have. Our website is pretty extensive so I can understand the need. I kindly thank anyone who would be willing to get me started. The website has been developed from adobe golive, if that's important. Hey guys, I found a counter on the web, and tried to reconfigure it to what i need. the weirdest thing has happened, and I don't understand it. maybe someone can tell me logically what it means...so heres the code:

Let me also explain what i am trying to do. as a user, I want make it start a counter when I go to domain.com/index.php. if i go to another website (within the same domain), the ip addresss is stored. My Site is hosted on linux site and i have basic cgi scripts for page counters, but does anyone know how i can create a download counter for files which can be made visible to users. I want the content to be updates live on the site ( basic count per click )

I've made a hit counter for my website and need a bit of help in HTML to get it to work. There are 3 files:

One SWF file
One PHP file
and One TXT file

All three of these files are in a web folder. What I want to do is get it to work on Blogger. I've successfully embedded the SWF file into it which shows the hit counter but need the TXT file and PHP file to load along with the SWF (and to change the TXT file in the web folder). Is this possible to do with some HTML code?

EDIT: The problem has been solved, for anyone who has the same problem the solution is easily solved by using the <iframe> </iframe> tag. Just add a src, width or whatever else you need in it.

The instructions say to insert two chunks of code into your page.

How do you put in a letter counter on a web page. I make custom embroidery patches. As the person types in the text for the patch, I need to be able to count the number of key strokes and from that count be able to direct to the right page. How can this be done. I can do alittle coding but not very good at it yet.
If there is someone out there that can help, I will be happy with any help I can get. Thanks.

I've had a simple php counter on a web page for years. Now I change the webpage and put the counter html on it just like before and this time it doesn't work!

Could this be something to do with the new page being xhtml instead of html? Or because this time there's already a 'javascript' section whereas before there wasn't?
Or what?

the html line is right at the bottom of the page, just before </body> and the line itself is:

The text file is still there in the directory, I checked everything by running the old file again and it runs the counter okay.

I need to create a web counter that doesn't track hits, but increases by 1 every 8 seconds. I have some experience with HTML, but no experience with Java. I'm not sure how to create this. Does anybody else?
