HTML - Placing Text On Clipboard, No Java

Hi,

I am basically a complete beginner when it comes to programming, but im trying to learn so I hope someone can help me. (This is an assignment from the university btw). If that matters in any way. I am making a website with different functions. One of them beeing a text box, where you can input a number. And a javascript will square the number for you. The textbox appears as normal on my website, and I think the javascript should be good, but obv if anything is wrong with it please feel free to comment. When I enter the number and press enter, the only thing appering is the raw code of the javascript. Nothing happens basically, so obv im wondering what I have done wrong. Hope someone can help me.

I was given some Java Script code to put in an HTML formatted file. The java script will randomly create an image. What I would like to do do is add text and make it so the text starts at the top of the image and not the bottom like it's doing now.

In short, I'd like to have the text wrap around the image that the java script creates.

Is this possible, and how do I do it?

Can someone please help me with this, I need a button that when clicked will pull a password from somewhere hidden from view and allow the users to paste it in the relevant frame of my web page.

can this be done without using a text area, or by using an external txt file.

basically the password we all use is stored in an email and I don't want to have to open outlook each time I need to use it, but I don't really want it the password displayed on the page either.
hope I made sense if not please feel free to shout random abuse at me.

Is it possible to make a button that when clicked, copies text from a box.
Instead of manually selecting the contents and then copying with something like control+c.
I don't know if this is possible with html alone, could anyone help?

I was curious if anyone knew how to set up a link/button that copies a table to the clipboard???

So you could set up a table like:

I put up a static background portal page which has links to everything for the business and our email address. since the email address is static to the image, i want to make an image map and have that copy the email address to the clipboard and inform the user that it has been copies and can be pasted in their email client.

How would i go about this?

if I try and copy a paragraph the page it adds a link and some text to the bottom of what ever I copied. Like this:

I've managed to do this much of a page myself, putting the first image in the upper left corner using <table>, but all of my attempts to place another image in the upper right corner have failed. I'm trying to do it in separate tables:

I want to use <a href="...">thumbnail.png</a> or something similar to place an image in a layer on a different part of the same page.
Can this be done in HTML or do I need to write something else?
Or am I asking the impossible??
I'd like to avoid calling another page as this could result in slow performance, and I'm trying to avoid using frames.
The various layers on the page are defined in CSS.

now my problem is that my menu wont remain in the same line as the logo and it goes to the next line under the logo which i dont want! i tried also to put this line :

How can i place an image so it is at the exact x and y that i want it? Becuase if i put my image right after the body tag, it is hanging off the left a little bit. I need it right at 0,0. Please help me?!

Perhaps this really belongs in the CSS section, but it seems more of a HTML issue to me, so I'm sticking it here. :p Here's my question! I've got a set of links, and I used an external CSS sheet to make it so that when the links are hovered over, the image changes. That all works fine and dandy, but now the links are lined up one on top of another. I'd like to make them sit next to one another, like so: http://img411.imageshack.us/my.php?i...lllinksgy4.jpg

How can I do this? I've tried adjusting the table tr height and I tried to put the links in a div layer, but the divs of the CSS code seem to be overiding everything else. I'm really not sure what else to try, and any help would be entirely welcome.

This is working fine in all browsers except IE 9. It works in IE 9 too if I use the HTML 4 doctype instead of HTML5.

Am I missing something here or is it a bug with IE9?
