Click around on the links on the page and see what I mean. Thanks. I tried Google, but I am not even sure what to search for on this one. Hi all, I would like to have add a search functionality to my site. It would allow the users would enter a phrase and the entire web site's html would be searched to see if this phrase exists. Does anyone know of any existing code or module that does this? Something Java based would prefereable. Thanks in advance for any help, Jehan Hi, New here. Tried browsing for this but came up short. Would like to try and write the code myself for this, but it seems like a pretty unoriginal concept. What I need is a way to make an image play a track with one mouse click. Thanks for any help you can give me. - Mopset Hello. I am designing a website with a lot of partially transparent PNG images, so I am using multiple <div> containers with CSS positioning to create my page layout, so certain images overlap the background content for visual effect. I've run into a problem, though. I wanted to place an iframe inside of a <div> container, so that I can load external content into the iframe, yet position the iframe using CSS, rather than tables. Unfortunately, all of the "content" pages that load into this iframe-in-a-container lose their functionality -- rollover images won't load and links won't underline or activate when the cursor hovers over them. Is this because the iframe is inside of a <div> container? The same iframe code works fine if placed in a table, or directly in the body of the HTML, so I suspect that's the probelm. Does anyone know if that's just one of the limitations of using containers, or is there a workaround that would allow me to do what I wanted to do? If not, I'll just make my main page layout with tables, stick the iframe in a cell, and use <div> containers for the rest of my transparent images. Thanks for any suggestions! Is it possible for me to upload a picture of my template I sketched and you guys tell me what I need to do in order to accomplish this? Ok, I've made some changes to my navigation bar on my website with Fireworks so its more interactive. I've now implemented into my html but it has throw a certain part out on the page. Its the small picture thumbs at the bottom of the page, they are supposed to be in one row accross the page, now they go underneath each other. I've been looking for ages now to see the problem but I can not work it out. Here are 2 links to the pages, the first one is the one that works previously and the second is the changed one. If you can see the problem I would be so grateful, thanks. http://www.ashley-stone.co.uk/psychedelic.htm http://www.ashley-stone.co.uk/psychedelic2.htm Hope someone can help as I'm tearing my hair out at the moment!! I'm working on a site for a friend, I have only ever used basic html to code my own sites, due to this I'm having problems with the layout my friend wants. I've created it with frames, not live yet but you can view it he http://www.ladin.co.uk/Jim/index2.html The layout with color either side and content in middle is how he wants it but obviously without frames, I'm not very knowledgeable where CSS is concerned so haven't a clue how to code it, thanks in advance. Ok so I'm making a layout for HabbTunez and I've put my navigation into a table and when you click the picture the navigstion comes down, but everything in the table I've made is centered vertically, click Here to see what I mean. Are there in depth tutorials on making a Div layout? Tables are making way more sense. How do you make a div float to the right of something without having it move to the bottom when a page is shrinked? How do you make a div take up space within a div that not taken out? Like in a div. 80%, inside that div is a 100px div, then have another div inside the 80% div that uses the rest of the space? and how do you fix this? http://vertion.fused.ws/div.html I'd like to have an image "inside" a block of text such that the text surrounds it. Here's a mock-up: Is that possible? I've tried various things but no luck yet. How would I go about laying this site out similar to this site? I don't want the bubble text in the blue banner, I want to leave that as it is on my site. Thanks for any help! Having a problem with my layout Here is the link... I can't get the text to stop overflowing out of the div. It only seems to be doing it horizontally. Vertically it is doing fine but i'm trying to get the background image to stretch and it wont do it! Greetings Folks! So I put this site together based on a website's site layout and well, let's just say is not as nice. I did, tho, do the best I could without using jquery scrollpane which the original site looks like they used. Here's the site I did http://www.universalpartnership.org I'd like to be able to make the page jumps smoother and have the particular sections come to the center rather than somewhere on the page. I'd really, really like to make the vertical scrolling on the whole page go away, it's seriously annoying. And is there a way to change the scroll bar to be smaller? Also, (hehehe) I had to add a table with nothing in it to get the width to be nice and big. I couldnt figure out how to increase the width POST starting the page and all. It'd be nice to dump that and do it the right way. I would have kept the table but I could get it to be flush against the top and the left. I guess the major issues I have is being able to add code post building the page in design view. I just dunno where things go and I've been reading article after article and it's been a lost cause so far. So, if you are kind and so inclined to offer some support by way of help, indicating where code goes would be awesome and a great learning curve for me! I've added the page as an attachment in case any whizzes can hook it up! thanks much in advance! peace rooster |
