HTML - Html Help - Loading Problem
Hi,
I need help resolving the following issue in the designing part During the switch from one page/deal to the other, two fields CONTRACT instantly (Shrink in size) and then comes back to the normal shape. those 2 fields are 1) Dropdown list menu (Location) 2) e-mail address field (subscribe) Can I fix this ?? here is the url.. 4grabz.com/index.php?option=com_jegroupbuy&view=jegroupbuy&Itemid=102 Similar TutorialsHi, I was wondering what the easiest way was to add an image loader to a cell on a table. Hello, I am currently working on a small library of school videos utilizing the DivX codec (which, by the way is quite something). Each video is centered on it's own page using a table. Rather than creating 25 different HTML documents, I would like to have one that can switch between tables on a click. Thank you, JRosselet Hi all, I have a .CGI web page written in PERL language. The CGI script loads the information from a database. So when i start the CGI page in my browser and it will only have a value in the whole page. As in when the whole page started in the browser will have only a few characters. Let say it retrieve Temperature recorded and which is stored in the database. So the whole page when loaded will only show 1 temperature. Which is "36.6" and will change when ever the database receive a newer data. In additional, i have a html page. There are tables in the page whereby show information. Like tables having temperature, id, sound and light columns. My Question is that Am i able to load the numbers/characters show on the CGI page directly into the table or any where in the HTML page? What i can think of is putting up a link to the CGI page on the HTML file and click it when i want to view it.But it would just be too troublesome. Thanks & best regards Joseph I have just built a web page this week in HTML using Kompozer, and we thought everything was fine, until I got an e-mail from a friend that the page wasn't displaying. The short story is that it seems that the page (www.cpromptcomputers.net) does not always load for people - it gives a 403 error. The strange thing is that it comes and goes - it is not always consistent. I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with my friend who is hostiing it for me this afternoon, and he is as mystified as I am. He has been hosting his own web server for several years, and is certainly not a novice at this, but he can't find the problem. Here's what is happening: 1. It does not seem to be browser specific. This evening 4 different people have messaged me after testing - two on Firefox, two on IE - one of the firefox users and 1 of the IE users loaded successfully, and the others did not. Furthermore, this afternoon my friend downloaded and installed Opera 11 on his laptop and it would not load the page, and I downloaded and installed Opera 11 on my machine and it DID load the page. 2. If a user types www.cpromptcomputers.net/index.shtml, it seems to load every time. It's only when you don't put the index.shtml at the end that problems sometimes come up. 3. Testing on my Android phone, I found that some browsers work and some don't. However, if I have a browser pointing to the page that gives the 403 error, and then turn ON my wi-fi so I'm using my local network instead of Verizon, and then refresh the page it loads fine. If I then turn OFF the wi-fi, so I'm back to Verizon, and refresh the page it often does not load again. 4. This evening at another friend's house, who uses a different ISP than I do at home, I checked both IE and Firefox and neither of them loaded the page. 20 minutes later, both of them loaded it fine. 5. We tried creating a default.html file that re-directs to the index.shtml file, and it worked fine for me, but not my friend who is hosting the web site. 6. My friend temporarily took out the include files in my index page but it did not resolve the problem. 7. This evening, my friend called me at it was working for him again. He had made not changes on the web server. As you can guess, this is driving us crazy because it does not seem to have any consistent pattern. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate them. By the way - the web server he is running is the latest software from Microsoft. Thanks! Hi, I want to load a window with loading image on a button click. The new window is having an other content so before loading the actual content i want to disapear the loading image from the new window. It is based on another page I have made, which works fine but this one seems to not want to Hi all, Having a bit of a problem trying to verify a site with Google. Uploaded the meta tag code to the index.html page of our site via an FTP server, however when I view the site, it doesn't interpret the html as html, it just shows me the code. Hi, I have a website which runs primarily on html, but I call some dynamic content using <?php include 'list.php' ?> inside the body tag of index.html. <html> .... <body> .... <?php include 'list.php' ; ?> ... </body> </html> The domain is redirected to public_html/myproject (index.html and list.php is present here). Now only the html shows up. The php content is not included. (the list does not show up, works fine in local machine) How do I include php on html files? What changes should I make? 1. I tried adding a .htaccess in the myproject folder with the content AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .html .php AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html But it throws a 500 error. 2. Should I make any changes to php.ini file? [ There is no php.ini file in the sub directory as of now. Is it required? ] 3. And with that, my entire profile was covered. So I designed my layout in photoshop, and saved it as a flattened image, and used "hotspots" on dreamweaver to link it. That was the only way I could think of to code it. The code works perfect, and the design looks great, but the problem is that it gets covered by the div overlay and gets placed in such a way that it moves the layout and some of the myspace features start showing in the background again. I can supply the source code of my myspace with the layout on it and div overlay. Any help in this matter is extremely appreciated. Thankyou very much guys. |
