HTML - Rotating Form Text

In my first page: <FORM id="userTextForm" METHOD="LINK" ACTION="text.html"> <textarea rows="5" cols="20" wrap="physical" name="userText"> Enter your thoughts here </textarea> <input type="submit" value="submit thoughts"> </FORM> Is there anyway for me to display the input on the next page with just css transform or do I have to do something else on the server side. We can use javascript, html, but nothing that would require calls to a db as we don't have CGI capability. I am an Amazon associate and the banners they give us to use are in iframes. I'd like to be able to rotate different banners they have but don't know how to do it. I found a javascript for rotating banners, but it doesn't work with Amazon's iframe banners. Can this be done? If it can be done, could I also rotate other banners with it that are not in iframes, but are just typical with the graphic url and the destination url? Thanks. Hey, I'm looking to set up a system of 5 different splash pages, loading in order for the user so they never get the same one twice. I think I did something like this before only with HTML... anyone have any tips??? okay probably a simple feat for some of you, but if I wanted to make a nbanner that flitted (rotated) through several images, say four location shots, how does one do this? I do have in my employ: Adobe Photoshop Adobe Dreamweaver and my favorite coding program : Notepad Do I make an animation in Photoshop and save it as a ,gif and use that in Dreamweaver and add the link there? Would that work? hrm. *pulls her skirt down a bit* I think my noob is showing can anyone help me with this code i found on the 'net? it basically rotates webpages after a certain delay. the problem is that when it first loads up you get a message saying error, BUT THEN IT DOES LOAD after the time period. I am worried that people will click away as they anticipate a broken link, but i cannot change the wait time to anything less than what it is already. is it possible to put in a "wait message screen" or get rid of the error? I am new to html and i am trying to understand how to link the text someone puts into a form onto another url. what I want more or less is for someone to enter a text, press submit, then find their text on the next page. So when they click "submit" they are redirected to a page with other users posts all stacked on top of eachother. Also, I have a radio button that is clicked before being able to submit the post. I want it so that they have to check the radio box before they can submit. Finally, what they checked in that box(either male or female) needs to show next to their post. Im sorry if this is a lengthy and hard to understand explanation of my problem. I really really appreciate the help. You're awesome Hi Guys I have a text input field in a form that has data in it from a previous entries. Is there something i can do that ensures the field is empty when the form is pulled up? Thanks everyone I''m making a form with three input bars. When the user presses "submit", the contents of the three inputs is put together in a string, which is then sent to a CGI program. Is there any way to add arbitrary text to that string - whether before or after the stuff gathered from the form's inputs - so that my CGI program can know which form called it? I'm making a form that contains three places for the user to enter text. The first two are for taking only one line of text, but the third is a bigger input for taking in multiple paragraphs of text. The trouble is, I can't get this third one to wrap the text! Is there a way to turn word wrapping on for an input bar? Or should I be using a different form element? Hi I have a form which posts back using mailto: method="post" enctype="text/plain" So all the lines in the emial which the form sends look like this: line1= form text line2= more form text line3= more form text is it possible to remove the line1= ? so the email would look like: form text more form text more form text I have removed the name of the form field element as a test on line 1 so it looks like: =form text line2= more form text line3= more form text But you can see it still holds the = Can I get rid of this too? Is there a way to fix that? Thanks! This is a problem that i driving me crazy. I have this forms on my website that people can use to post comments. They have one textarea that they should write their name in and another that they should write their comment. I try to make the default text "Namn" and "Kommentar", but only "Namn" is showing in firefox. The weird thing is though, that if I change places between the two textareas, both are showing fine. I provide the site with the source code, and for a quicker check, the code for the two textareas. <textarea name="db_comment_namn" type="text" value="Namn" rows="1" cols="15" style="font-size: xx-small; font-family: Verdana; font-weight: Bold; font-style: Italic; border: 1px inset #CCCCCC; padding: 1px;">Namn</textarea> <textarea name="db_comment_kommentar" type="text" value="Kommentar" rows="1" cols="50" style="font-size: xx-small; font-family: Verdana; font-weight: Bold; font-style: Italic; border: 1px inset #CCCCCC; padding: 1px;">Kommentar</textarea> http://foto.jaxell.se Thanks in advance.
