HTML - Link Not Opening On Iphone
Hi guys, new to this, and trying to learn.
I have some code in a newsletter which opens a new page from a link perfectly well in a pc browser, but fails to open the same link on my iphone, which just asks me to 'save image' or 'copy'. But with no luck. Appreciate some help thanks. i have a site where there is an iframe. The iframe loads a page from another website which has links on it. when a person clicks on a link, it loads the next page within the iframe which is ok. This next page it load also contains links and when a person clicks one of these things, it then loads a checkout page within the iframe which is not so good at all as this page is secure, but because it exists within the iframe now, it wont show as secure to people viewing it. I would like to know how i can have the links from the next page mentioned load in a new tab or browser window so that the secure checkout page is now on its own and the https and secure padlock show to the user. On the app market there is an app called face call that allows you to upload a picture and a phone number. Then the app makes a webpage that you visit on mobile safari, you "add to home page," and it makes an icon of your contact on the springboard. This allows you to go into the web app and it calls your contact. Heres what I know: It uses an html5 manifest file to run the app offline The site is deleted after you add it to the home page I want to know how it auto calls. The problem is, the mobile page I designed looks tiny on iPhones, even though in a regular browser it looks very similar to other site's mobile pages (which look great on the iPhone.) It works just fine on Internet Explorer and Safari, but when it's in Firefox the new window opens up on a separate tab in the same browser window and causes the whole window to resize to 400X300. I'm sure this is probably one of the dumbest questions to appear here, but how would I get a link to a file to open that file in its native program - i.e. a .doc into Word or a .xls with Excel rather than in an IE plugin? Problem is, of course, whilst the IE plugins work, they don't have full functionality. I can select the symbol and want to open a new window (pop-up). In the table AERORAMA there is a column named PATH and contains this kind of info: \\st001b\Data\GIS Fotos\Fotos\Aerorama\zuid\BopZ_0004.html It's a path on some internal storage drive. I want the file above to be openend in the new window. How can i alter the HTML code above to make this happen? I thank you already! Marteijn I created a page with a chromeless window. Clicking on 'enter' on the index page will open the homepage in a chromeless window. However, whenever you click enter on the index page, the index page itself is also loading the homepage. (so it's double, one on the index page and one in a chromeless window). How can I get it to stop, so that it only loads a chromeless window and the index page stays the same?
