Image name: repeater.jpg and it is uploaded to hosting space . Thanks in advance for answers , Michael Dear members! Im currently a learner in cSS with HTML, and i'm having a hard time understanding some simple rules and aligment options. I currently have theese two files set up; Index.html (LINK) style1.css (LINK) And what i'm having a hard time to get right is to include the different #elements from the CSS file, (So that they will be shown in the HTML documents, could someone please tell me how that is done properly?) Also, i followed THIS GUIDE to try to understand how to center-align my website, but it doesent seem to be right, as the box is not centered, at the same time as if i try to edit the values (how many pixels the box should be, nothing happens) Could someone please tell me the proper way to center-align a webpage or correct the documents so it center-aligns, as well as tell me how to construct elements / boxes in CSS so that i could start to make a basic site-design in CSS and how to code this in the HTML file so that the elements that i've constructed in the CSS file will be shown on the HTML page properly? If you guys have some good guides to start me off, that would be great to.. thanks! Thank you, sorry if this is allready answered. - InZeL Hey, I embedded a google search box on my website, and I can't figure out how to make it so that when you search for something, the results show up on my page and not leave my site. I just want like a window below the search box in MY site. Any ideas on how to do that? Here's the code I have so far: <FORM method=GET action="http://www.google.com/search"> <input type=hidden name=ie value=UTF-8> <input type=hidden name=oe value=UTF-8> <TABLE bgcolor="#FFFFFF"><tr><td> <A HREF="http://www.google.com/"> <IMG SRC="http://www.google.com/logos/Logo_40wht.gif" border="0" ALT="Google" align="absmiddle"></A> <INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=25 maxlength=255 value=""> <INPUT type=submit name=btnG VALUE="Google Search"> </td></tr></TABLE> </FORM> Thanks!! Hey everyone, I am attaching a picture of something happening to a friends website. Is there any way to fix this? FYI: seems to show fine in yahoo, bing, or any other search engine results page. How odd? here is the site: xxx There are three teeny shaded squares in a frame that is designated a height of 70 pixels and a width of i believe 100% ... it is visible on Mozilla, Explorer, Safari ... any ideas? is my source code screwy? Thanks! How do I make element's change their height automatically depending on whether they have anything contained within them? My page background is a div's bg image but the div hasn't expanded to the size of the contained elements. The div's name is nicola-bg Here is the site I have the same problem too with #image-section. Please help i really need help Thanx a lot Hello to everyone who gets to read this post, here at HTMLforums.com. I think it's great there is a community for all webmasters to share there knowledge. Well I got a problem with my domain name, and sorry, but I could not find a category that would fit for this thread. But here's the deal: When I go type http://google.com into my browser and the site is done loading, it shows http://www.google.com in my browser. The same in almost all large websites. Now how do I make my domain, stenersted.dk, forward to www.stenersted.dk? Thanks alot, Poul http://www.website.com looks much better in the URL bar than http://website.com. How do I forward my website ***.dk to www.***.dk? I have this login on a website i'm doing, in Firefox, Opera & Safari the two text fields and the login button are aligned to the very left of the page but in IE the text boxes only stay about 15px further to the right. This means they are out of line with other elements on the page Can anyone tell from this code below what i'm doing wrong or do you need more code to go on. <form name=login> <table width=200 border=0 align="left" cellpadding=3> <td><input type=text name=username></td></tr> <td><input type=text name=password></td></tr> <tr><td colspan=2 align=left><input type=button value="Login!" onClick="Login()"></td></tr> </table> </form> cheers I cant figure out why my website footer looks different in internet explorer compared to all the other browsers. IE makes the footer look off. Can someone please help me with this. www.pricedrightcleaningequipment.com thanks so much |
