HTML - How To Connect A Url To A Site?
I recently purchased a URL from godaddy.com. I would really like to get a small site hosted some where just as a test.
Wasn't sure of the best place to post this, feel free to move it to a more appropriate location. Similar TutorialsHi, I can pull up every site on the Internet except the website I made. My girlfriend has no problems connecting to it from her end either. I have tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer and I have cleared my cache,cookies and temp internet files but I still cannot connect. I have also tried connect via my ftp client. None of these options are working. My website url is http://intersecurity.hostcell.net, can someone please give me some advice and what might be wrong. I have also disabled firewalls and anti virus programs and still no luck. Hi All I am making some new pages for my websites and want them all link together. They are all coded to reached the main page by <a href> tag but also want each of the new pages to link together. So I guess my question is Will I have to add a new <a href>tag such as <a href="htmlforums.html">How to make multiple links all connect</a> and so on on each new page..... I would like it to display the redirected site, but if possible keep to the original address.. e.g. A site named www.mysite.com, with an INDEX.HTML to redirect to www.othersite.com, which displays OTHERSITE with www.mysite.com in the address bar. The two divs container and content dont seem to wrapping around the other html variables correctly. If you put a border around content and container and view it you will know what im talking about. I am a mac user so am naturally using Safari as my browser. I have developed the new home page for my companies web site. To me it looks great and I am happy with the appearance (in Safari). What I am not happy with is it's appearance in Firefox. When viewed in Firefox there are blue boxes around all of the link images and and this is causing the placement to be out also (not perfect like in Safari). I have three questions : 1. How do I stop the blue boxes when viewing in Firefox? 2. Not having IE, how does this page look in IE? 3. Have I approached the coding correctly and could it be done better thus improving the performance? I am aware that there are a good number of rollovers but I do wish to keep them all. My site looks exactly as I want in all of the following; Firefox, Chrome and Safari but IE 8 shifts my navigation links. there is my code and whats happens is. and here is pretty much what i want it to look like. can someone tell me how to do it Hi, I'm new here. Hi there all, this looks like a great place to get answers. I'm trying to make a site which is "centered" but I need to add a vertical scrolling text box on top of one of the graphics.
