Thanks, Hello, I have the following form on my webpage, however I need to modify the code so that where it says value ="20080916", i.e. todays date in the format YYYYMMDD, I need it to change to whatever the date is on the particular day that the site is accessed and the form used. Any ideas? Thanks Damian

Can anyone help me add a date to my form? This is HTML, not PHP. I have tried using a JAVA script to create a date variable. I cannot figure out how to get this variable into my form and have it SUBMIT properly. Thanks rmsowell123 I have a donations form http://www.roycastle.org/tributes/tribute_input.htm, which anyone can fill in. Would like the date format to change autmatically when the country field is applied. For example country = United States date format =08/15/2007 Hi M8's I am struggling a bit here I am no HTML expert but I am sure someone out there will say - hey! that's easy man. I wnat to put a date on my web site that shows 10 days ahead of the live date and changes every day to maintain that gap, anyone any ideas. regards How do I get the little symbol to appear before the date 2010? the date for 2011 has one ,but I can't get one for 2010.I can't find it in the code I've saved. Thanks http://www.imagebam.com/image/da0c19113490618
2010

Rock & Roll,Inc
Horror Examiner Interview
</blockquote Why is it that thise date appears in front of my website, and others dont have that date? Im not understandinng how it got there.. should I use another doctype or something? Its my first site that has gotten it. Ive done some digging and found that its not removable........ but, i fear that it replaces some words from my meta descriptions.. Does anyone have some advice? Or a way to remove it. Appreciate it. thanks This might be a .css question, but I have several html pages with a copyright date at the bottom, and I want to be able to change the date from within a text file and display that date (use a function to open the text file) so that I can just change the text file instead of every html page. Maybe there's an easier or more logical way of accomplishing this, so I'm open to any suggestions. I have a need to be able to compare today's date against a date and if the date is less than today's date then grey the background or text in a row of a table, otherwise leave the row with a white background or black text. It's basically a lazy webmaster's solution to updating the format of a page without having to manually update everytime and event passes. An examle would be as follows: Row 1 January 5, 2009 7:00 Regular Meeting Row 2 February 3, 2009 7:00 Regular Meeting Row 3 February 20, 2009 6:30 Wine and Cheeze Party at Bill's House For each row I would compare the date (hardcoded not as a variable) against today's date. If today is February 15, 2009, The text on the first two rows would be grey and the text on the third row would be black as shown above. Thanks for any assistance. Mike I use blogger and I have a small issue. Look at my test blog: http://uiofhgsiufhgasofuyghasdfyasgfy.blogspot.com/ On my main blog, I simply removed the break line and everything was resolved: http://www.freebie-link.com/ My question is if there is a way to keep my break line but still have the calendar work like it does on my main blog with it's position. PLEASE HELP! Hi, I'm building a website for a Rock Band. They have a FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and a GIG HISTORY page. Can anyone tell me how, when the date changes, the information is deleted from the FORTHCOMING GIGS page, and then appears on the GIG HISTORY page. I know that this can be done automatically, I just don't know how. I think it might be a php script. Thanks I just revamped my blog using a pre-made template. I have changed the background successfully, but the date seems to not be working. Could someone please tell me how to fix it? i already checked my setting on Blogspot, so it must be the HTML code from the template I used. I've looked all through the HTML, but I didn't see anything about a date stamp. This is the template I used: http://www.bloggerstyles.com/paper-c...gger-template/ And this is my blog, so you can see what I mean: http://supopi.blogspot.com Any help would be extremely appreciated! OK what I need to do is find a way to make a specific graphic change automatically on a certain date and change again on another date. A client of mine is having me design his logo so that the logo resembles the season eg: On Christmas his logo would include a Santa Clause and on Halloween there would be a pumpkin within his logo etc... You get the idea... I want to design each logo and have them change at the appropriate time of year. There's a heading on the page that says "Latest News". This might say something like "Next event is 4 May". Obviously on 5 May, the text becomes out of date. But it would be OK if the heading changed to "Recent News" BTW: I'm not a techie . I had to fix this post so it is reposted at the bottom.. I am learning as I go, please read this part then skip to my last post.... I had to put the code in a box so that it can be viewed easier I have to divide this post into three sections because it is too large for the limit Part 1. I dont know how to program in HTML, but I figured if I posted the HTML here maybe someone could tell me how to fix my problem The template I use can be found at this location: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Z8mwJp4iSO...r_template.JPG You see the date in the upper right hand corner of each new post.... its not working on my personal blog... Can anyone find something in the following code that I could change to fix this problem? THANK YOU! Hi guys. I have no idea which category to post this in, or if it's even possible to achieve, so think of it as a challenge to your web skills In Visual Basic you can build a routine that checks a value (such as today's date). If today's date matches the date stored then an action will occur. My question is, can this be done with a web page? I'd like an index page to be active until a certain date, and after that date I would like it to automatically redirect to a different page which carries a message for the user. The page should operate completely normally until the date I set is reached, with no sign that anything is going to happen. Once the date is reached, anyone calling the index page will be instantly redirected to my message page instead. What do you think? Is it a possibility? Hello everyone. I have a web page that contains a long form. One of the fields, "Show Date", has a that triggers a DHTML Date Selector widget I downloaded. However, the formatting on the selector is not as desired--I recently placed the following line of CSS code in my shared CSS file: Code: div { background-repeat: no-repeat; position: absolute; visibility: visible; } I know for a fact that this line is responsible for the formatting bug, but since I have hundreds of div's that I need formatted with the no-repeat, absolute positioning, and visible attributes, this messes up my date selector (just the absolute). So basically my question is this: Is it possible to keep my single line of super-formatting all my DIVs while retaining the desired look for the Date Selector? (Possibly a line of CSS for the selector??) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! `Hello I have this problem that i have a list of things, that is very very long. There is about 5000 entries and i need to make a table where the user can select to sort by something. It looks like this Sort By Car Sort By Tires Sort By Make Sort By Year So how do i make it, so that when the user clicks sort by make, it will sort by it? Do i do it in HTML or what? Are there programs to do this? Thanks For Help! Turha |
