HTML - Invisible Text In Div
I am making a quick landing page and my text will not appear in a div.
I can't see the text in my accessories tab that are to the right on http://tmftk.com/ It should be two columns of information but It just wont show up, could someone please help? I've been trying to get rid of them, hide them, make them same color as my background, but no matter what I do, they're still being displayed in my browsers. Below is my frame file. I thought that setting frameborder to zero or to none would get rid of them. Previously I also tried making the bordercolor black (same as my background), but them borders are still displaying. Does someone(s) know how to make a 'radio' button invisible but leave the associated text and VALUE? Thank you! For some strange reason I am getting an invisible underscore under my hyperlinked images. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I can stop it from happening? Im trying to make the www.domain.com/forum link inaccessible unless you click a link on the main page or else put a text box on the main page where you type a "secret" word in and then displays a username and password box to then login and redirect to the forum. I've heard many times "don't use frames, there is better ways to accomplish it", and I was wondering, is this just referring to "invisible" frames, or any frames? For example, look at Kingdom of Loathing. They use frames (or what appears to be frames) and I can't see how they could successfully make that site without. If I had to have all the screens scroll as one rather than separate, and couldn't resize when I needed to, it would be extremely annoying. I have implemented a facebook type search to the database which displays the familiar text saved in the database when I type some text in the database. My issue is after I have used the search box for a couple of time the text box starts displaying a similar dropdown from its history which hides my database search. A lot of them are just textual changes and I would think my customers can do these themselves by editing a simple .txt file. I was hoping my choices are avalable so that I can just insert this tag into my web pages and then give them login info to their edit page or show them how to upload the .txt file. How do I Link text in a div, h1, h2, p to an external text file or xml file - I don't really know how to ask the question. I think I need an xml file that can be easily edited by a user saved to the server to update an xhtml page text without the user getting bogged down in html.
