HTML - Making Administration For Simple Html Website
Hello.
I was lurking on web in search for some kind of administration. I have simple web site and i want to add articles to site like in JOOMLA. Can this be done. Thanks in advance! Hi all, I've just set up my website but there's a small problem when it's viewed in Internet Explorer. The address is http://www.angelsmithphotography.com.au When it's viewed in Internet Explorer, there's a small (approx 3-4 pixel height) black strip between the header image and the text below. I designed the site in Mozilla Firefox and so far, when viewing in that browser, this issue isn't there. I know my HTML is probably riddled with other issues (a legacy of learning HTML seven years ago and never bothering to update my knowledge much) but for now my primary focus is this one issue. I have had a poke around in the HTML and usually I would eventually find (or fluke) the solution, but I'm currently running out of time and patience and so hoped somebody else could help me! I am wondering, for this single web page development (without any backend system), is there any efficient way to implement the page localization(that's display the page in different language) based on the flag selection from user? Therefore I believe I need to make a "register" thing on my website, where they get a code to their typed in email addy and have to confirm it by typing it in on my page. I don't even know if it is possible to create that kind of thing with html, but any help would be great, have a nice sunday, DonCanalle I'm programming my first website for a friend who makes comics and in order to make the border around his comics fit I had to mess with the margins. The website looks great on Mozilla and Chrome, and perfect on Safari, but on IE and Opera the border ends up very skinny and goes through the comic, it also makes the page look enormous. Does anyone know how to remedy this? I think it has to do with the border being around the paragraph rather than the image, but I'm not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated. Hi all, I am looking to try to build a simple calculator in a separate page on a website. I want it to work by the user inputting a specific figures into two boxes and then they are given the answer. The maths would be done in the background and it would just be a tool that they could use to avoid making mistakes using an equation. Does anybody know if something like this is possible using HTML or would it involve something complicated than that? Thanks in advance, Tom Hi All Quick question for some im sure, Im in the process of designing a site for someone, and ideally i want it to fit the hole screen does any one know of the top of there head the CSS for this? reason i ask this because they have said they wont the page to be 960px width and iv said the majority of sites today fill the hole display of a monitor which they then agreed on Any one know? When you access www.mysite.com (just a example), you will see a column with a list of sports which you can click. Tennis Rugby Soccer Judo etc.. When you register, by giving your name,mail and date of birth, you will have captcha and mail verification system. After verification you log in the site and select one of these sports from a combo box, and you upload a pdf or doc file with your experience on the sport. Just one file allowed and one sport allowed per user. Then if someone enters the site and clicks in any of the sports, you can see a list with the registered users names and pdf files uploaded by them. Is there any base structure for this kind of site? I really need something like this. Or a guru dev can make this easy ? I have been asked by a client of make an e-mail for their product that has email elements in it like a picture and a logo that use HTML elements pretty much a page that you open in your e-mail window. I often get discount mailers from many businesses that do this kind of thing. I know a bit about making HTML/CSS pages but I have never done an e-mail that has that look to it.
