HTML - Help Me In Image Inserting In Html

we i insert pic only show in fix area but i wanna show it in my my complete page (not backgroud) pic. I am just using notepad and trying to insert an image to my web page. I have the image saved in the same folder as my notepad.html. I've tried both these codes but neither have seemed to work <img src="/image.jpeg" alt="image" /> and <img src="/folder/image.jpeg" alt="image" /> Could someone help me figure out exactly what I am doing wrong. I'm trying to insert a background image from my CSS into a table and not having any luck getting the image to appear. This is what the CSS looks like: #trekBike { background-image: url(assets/photos/bluerackbike.jpg); height: 188px; width: 250px; z-index: inherit; position: relative; top: 10px; left: 10px; } and in my table I try to call the style like this: <table width="791" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td><div id="trekBike"></td> How should I be referencing the CSS? I am making my website, and it is going to have a lot of pages. I want a menu on all of them, but I will probably make a lot of changes to the menu. I don't want to go through all of my pages to update my menu. So I want to keep my html menu in a separate file and my pages to insert the menu into the page. So if I want to edit the menu, I only have to change one file. I searched google everywhere but I couldn't find it. Any help would be appreciated. Hello. I need to insert MS Word and MS Excell documents directly into html file. I use <object> tag for these perposes. Everything is ok and the whole documents can be viewed in IE through html file. But the problem is that these documents can not be printed currently from html file! One possible reason is that version of server(office) to print these OLE objects must be exatly the same as the version of office they were created in. Ok so this image works on a table i did, and it covers the whole table nicely, but now i need to know how i can put another image that goes behind everything except the table and the table image and wont overlap everything in the table <TABLE BORDER="0" cellpadding="0" CELLSPACING="0"> <TR> <TD MAX-WIDTH="100%" MAX-HEIGHT="100%" BACKGROUND="grey.jpg" VALIGN="bottom"> </td> </tr> </table> Hi, I have a question regarding the code to use to create a horizontal line of small images across the page , from left to right. I want to use them as a horizontal divider between blog posts on our website. The image is a small flower which we use as a logo on our website. This is the image location - http://www.lannacharm.com/files/1/00...ower_small.gif So far I have ended up with a verticle line of images, which is useless, or a block of images which wraps itself around the image above it. That is another problem I am having, how do I place this new line of images below the existing image, or text ? There must be some code I can place between them to separate them. I've got the graphic saved in the FTP, but when I open up the HTML for the page, I quickly become lost. I'm not sure where I'd put the graphic code or even what the code is.
