HTML - Page Within Html Widget Doesn't Scale?
Basically I want to put this page "http://3d-story.com/Old-Afgan.html" into a 3rd party widget.
When I place this 3rd party widget on my page I can scale the widget frame to any size I want, but the page within it doesn't scale. Looks like this "http://www.wix.com/mettam/test" What code do I need to put into my HTML code so that it will scale to the frame of the widget ? Here is an example of my code with in the widget. Hi, Background: I have a small page that need to be embeded into a bounch of other html pages. Help needed: 1. Please provide the html chunk that I can use to embed the small page in to other html pages. 2. Is there a way of not using iframe? Can I use <Object> or <embed>? Here is what I means: if I have something like Code: <img src="picture.jpg" width="100%" alt=""/> it will fill the full space it can occupy (let say the whole viewport). Now if I have image with width resolution of 800px, and my viewport is 1024px, it will be scaled up, and if the viewport is 640px, it will be scaled down. What I want is that if the viewport is 1024px, it is not scaled at all (remain at the original resolution, that is 800px). But if the viewport is less than 1024px, than it will be scaled down to fit. Is there a way to do this? I have a DIV that is a fixed size. I want to display a JPG within the div that is stored elsewhere. The problem is the jpg used can change and can be any size. What I want to try and achieve is to scale this jpg so it fits within the div but still maintainig its original proportions. Is there anyway to do this using HTML and CSS, or do I have to use JS? (direct link for desktops) As you can probably see, the website isn't that big but on my ipod it appears zoomed out. I am using Cpanel. The home (index.html) page worked fine. But, from there I am trying to add another page (about_us). So what I am doing is creating a new file, and naming it about_us.html. Then I edit the file and paste in the code. But when trying to view the page as site.com/about_us it doesnt show up. But if I type site.com/about_us.html it does show up. The new file is displayed right above the index page in the file manager and all... I don't want our visitors to have to type ".html" at the end, they won't be likely to remember to anyway. I have no idea why it's doing this because I don't remember doing it before. The navigation bar I used previously used to work but now the links in it don't work because they dont have ".html" at the end of the link. (ex.<a href="http://www.site.com/about_us">About us</a>). I've got a page that, on starting, checks its URL for a hash extension and behaves accordingly. So the hash, or lack thereof, is important. I want this page to contain some hyperlinks to itself, with various hash extensions. It doesn't work! If the URL is just to the page (eg. mypage.html) it reloads fine. But if the URL is, for example mypage.html#&e=extrastuff, the page doesn't reload at all. Is there a solution to this? Hi, I'm not very advanced or anything, but I've coded websites before from scratch using Text Edit and an FTP client. I haven't done it for a few years and recently made a website with Cyber duck as the FTP client and SubEthaEdit as the external editor. I made a simple code for frames, and the site looks terrific on my Mac's Safari and Internet Explorer. When I checked it out on my friend's PC, it's just one big color background and nothing else. It also doesn't work on Mac's Firefox. I don't know what I did wrong, and how to fix the code to make it work on PCs or Firefox. Do PCs not recognize code that Macs do? Is there a way to change it? When the page is maximized on my computer it is all nice and neat but if the screen is not maximized everything falls out of frame. when I tried it on another computer even their maximized page had things out of frame. Hi, I have to display the results in 20 columns, in that 14 columns are frozen, rest of them are scrollable, when I give table widht in % then scrollbar presents to view the data in Firefox. If I see the same in IE, it doesnt show all the data, and there is no scrollbar. If I give the table width in px form then to some extent I am able to see the scrollbar in IE, and minimum pixel I had to give is 3000 and above. Is there any common solution to me to fix this so that I can see same both the browsers. We would like to have solution, width in % not in px. Please let me know the solution for this.
