HTML - Search Feature In My Webpage

Let me explain exactly what i want. In my horizontal navigation i want to have 3 links with a drop down menu feature! When the cursor hovers or that specific navigation i want it to drop down with other links hyperlinking to otherpages on my site!

So im a real estate agent making a website. Im no pro and most of the stuff ive been using to build has been through layouts/generators/help of others such as yourselves. So ive been stuck on finding/making this code for the past couple of days.

So all my listings are on my agencys website, not my personal agent website. Is there a code i could have where in the listings page my my personal agent website, i could have a window maybe 600x900 of the listing page on my agencys website? To kind of clear things up, you know how when you google something you have the magnifying glass, how it gives that preview. How can i have that preview coded onto a webpage, but me say what webpage to preview and how big to make the preview box?

Tried to explain it as best i could. If you dont know the code, if you can tell me what its called so i can try to narrow the google searches. So far everything that has been coming up in the search restults has been preview boxes to preview html codes you have already written. Fail Blog

i would like to know as to how to go about with html if i wanted people to watch a live event on my website

i have been doing xhtml css however never explored this live feature event so can someone provide me with links where i can get all the information that is needed for example a camera to record, what technology to use, what i should consider from user point of view, server side point of you, and the html code that needs to be used.

For example, this scenario:

1. My page contains the text "giraffes in corduroys"
2. somebody googles that text - either as a phrase or just the words
3. google points them to my page
4. the user clicks to go to my page...

Is there any way to determine that it was the text "giraffes in corduroys" which brought them to my page?

Would the crux be getting the previous URL in the browser history?

I'm trying to do two things...first:

I'm trying to set up a search box in frame 1 that will search, scroll to and highlight text in frame 2. Is this possible?

I've been searching around for days looking for answers, and have so far come up short.

I managed to create a search box in frame 1 that reloads frame 2, but that's not really what I'm after.

Now for the second thing I'm looking to do (along the same lines):

I want to click a link in frame 1 that scrolls to a target in frame 2 and highlights it. The target is a word in the middle of a paragraph.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm pretty green, so treat me like a beginner.

I am wanting to impliment a feature where I can install a search box on my website that will search anothers content.

Basically I have two sites, one has thousands of sound effects on it, the other is more of a portal site. On the portal site I want to add a search box that will link into the other sites database so that the user would navigate away from the portal site and be taken to the stabndard search results page of the main site based on thier queory.

Is there any code that anyone knows of to do this?

This may seem like a rather elementary question, but I'm doing a this for a school project and wanted some input on how this should be done. What I'm looking to do is to have a very simple text-input box on my page where the user would obviously type in some text, then a simple "post" button or something like that where when once clicked, the text typed by the user would just then appear above the box, possibly in a table? How simple/complicated is it to do this. I'm pretty familiar with html so once I get pointed in the right direction I should be fine. I don't want a blog or something where someone has to sign up with a user name or anything like that, just whoever visits the site can write text into the/a text input box and then it is shown after whatever text was typed by the user before them. Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to have my search box and search button aligned but I can't seem to get it working. Whenever I try to move one vertically, both of them end up moving and I'm all out of ideas.

Hi, I want to make a search box on my website. The thing is that I would like the search bar to be able to search on multiple search engines. For example I can type a movie in the search field and then I can select if I want to search for the movie either on google or on IMDb.

how do i make a background image fit to the window. also i have a button on a page. how do i get it to close the window uppon clicking it. any help would be great.

I'm a novice compared to the pros here and stuck on a couple issues. My website is uspsrealty.com
There is some "empty" space on my home page below the horizontal line. I want to remove the horizontal line and have the ability to use that empty space without throwing my borders/margins off. I would like to add about 3-4 sentences in that blank area. Can this be changed so I can add a few sentences? I know why this is happening, just don't know how to correct it.

Also want to change the copyright.jpg to 2010 from 2009. Might as well make up a few more jpgs with the years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015

Hi, i have a problem im not sure how to go about it .

I have a webpage where the user enters there personal details . As they are fillign in details they click a link and another webpage is opened ( keeping the orginal open ) Where the do some other stuff on this new page and what is created is a javascript array of numbers I then want them to be able close this new window down and the javascript array data will be submitted with the rest of the personal information when the click a submit button on the first page .

If this makes sense how do i go about this?

Hi, I'm trying to add a google search box (in a table) to my web page, but for some reason it the input button links to the page I am currently on. The strange part is that I put the same exact code in another cell right next to the other google search box and that one works wonderfully while the first one still links to the current page. It is the same with any search engine (yahoo, bing, ask), the first search box links to the current page and the rest work great. Here is the code I use:
