HTML - Pretty Simple Html Script Help (text Field / Submit Button)
Ok, basically here is the run down of what I am looking for this script to do.
Code: http://www.thisisjustanexamplesite.com/stats=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (X's representing numbers) All I want is the webpage to just show a text field and a submit button. So when the user puts in the numbers in the text field and hits submit, it automatically will put the numbers he put into the text field on the end of that link mentioned above and then take them there. I'm thinking it should just be simple HTML but possbily PHP maybe, not sure. Any help would be appreciated! Similar TutorialsI have a web page that I had to convert from a .psd file to an html and I'm not able to center a submit button and the text field next to it. I've tried various alignments but I'm also limited by what I can do because when you convert from .psd to html the entire page is one form. I don't have an external link but I'm able to provide html if necessary. Can someone please take a look at my code and offer some suggestions? Thank you Doug Hiya! I'm new here, and I'm pretty new to HTML and the likes. I used to be rather good at it, but I took a break and now I've completely forgotten everything Could someone help me code a simple layout for a virtual game I play? Basically I have a photomanipulation all made up, and I just want to put a scrolling text box ON the picture now. Basically, to make it more clear, I want a basic code that I can adjust over and over so I can strap on a scrolling text box onto any of my manips, which vary in size. I'm beyond the one-size-fits-all stage, and I know how to adjust what needs to be adjusted, I just need the code to start =0/ For example, I would like a box on the following picture, but I do not want the box to cover the whole thing. I just want it in the blank-ish area to the left. <a href="http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r1/poniexpress/?action=view&current=memoriesstables-2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r1/poniexpress/memoriesstables-2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> Hope I didn't make it too complicated sounding or wordy Please and thank you to anyone who can help! I'd be entirely and eternally grateful! PS. I'm just a teenager so use idiot-talk if you could Ok so this is simple and i want to know if anyone could do it or can show me how... So this is what we are working with. http://thequestways.com/blog.htm Thats plain but I want to know if i can make some changes. I want a fixed navbar, and the iframe the main scroll. These page is set up with tables if that helps. Anything would help, links, tips, ANYTHING. Hi All As the thread title suggests, I'm trying to vertical-align the text in a submit button - see attached. The html and css I'm using is below. I've tried wrapping spans around the value and altering the padding (which looks better but makes the onclick outline appear half-way up the button). Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Steve The html is Code: print("<input class='mybtn' SIZE='5' type='submit' name='storedatabase' value='Store Database'>"); The CSS is Code: .mybtn { width: 120px; height: 21px; border-style: outset; border-color: red; font-size: 12px; color: #000000; background-color: rgb(250, 240, 230); border: 1px 1px 1px 1px; outline: 10px; text-align: center; } Hi, I got a HTML form whose submit button doesnt seem to be working, Any help would be appriciated. The link to the form is http://new.johnnyshotel.com/contact.html . I tried the same form in a different plain html file and it seems to work but when I insert it back into this webpage template the submit button doesnt seem to work. Thanks in advance. Below is the current code I have. I havent coded in html for 6 years. Can someone either add or show me how to add a submit button that emails the info on that page to my email. I have been asked by a friend to build him a website, and right now I am a total faliure. I also need a reset button on the site that clears the info in the boxes. If someone could either just do it for me, or show me how i'd really apreciate it. Thanks everyone. I am wondering can I create a html button to call the perl script. Is this possible? I am creating a website that has a search button with an image. But anyways, I am integrating a site with php and I am not as fluent in html as the former. I need to just have a text that says login and not the actual button. Here is what I have been using <input type="submit" name="wp-submit" id="wp-submit" value="<?php _e('Register'); ?>" /> , how would I get it to just be text? Thanks for answering noob questions Hi guys, I have a drop down box via the <select> tag and then a submit button next to it. I want it so that if the drop-down shows "page 1" or something and then you hit "submit" it links to page 1. Same for "page 2" etc.. Is this possible, and how can I do it please! Thank you for any replies posted! My submit button, when viewed on browsers different than Internet Explorer, has a weird border that does fit around it. Example: http://bestusedexpress.com/junk_you_car_for_cash.html I can't find any code that causes it to be like that, and i'm sure its not that the image has it already, any help? Thanks I am trying to submit a forum through javascript, but the catch is I want to change the name of the button being sent through the form. Here is what I have here is the javascript function. Code: function form_submit(option) { if (option == 1) { alert("Option1") document.submit_form.DE_WEB_COMMAND.value = "Login"; document.submit_form.submit(); } else if ( option == 2 ) { alert("Option2"); document.submit_form["DE_WEB_COMMAND"].value="Activate"; document.submit_form.submit(); } } Code: <form action="/EN/cgi-bin/cgi_chip" method="post" name="submit_form" target="_blank" /> <input type="hidden" name="DE_LS_ATTM_USER_NM" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="DE_LS_ATTM_USER_PSSW" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="DE_WEB_PAGE_ID" value="login" /> <input type="hidden" name="DE_USER_VALUE" value="389740" /> <input type="text" id="username" name="DE_LS_IP_ATTM_USER_NM" tabindex="1" maxlength="20" value="" /> <input type="password" id="password" name="DE_LS_IP_ATTM_USER_PSSW" tabindex="2" maxlength="20" value="" /> <input type="submit" class="button" accesskey="l" tabindex="3" name="DE_WEB_COMMAND" value="Sign In" onclick="form_submit(1)" /> <input type="reset" accesskey="r" class="button" tabindex="4" name="Reset" value="Reset" /> <input name="DE_WEB_COMMAND" accesskey="E" type="button" class="button" value="New User?
