HTML - Meta Refresh Doesn't Work After Clicking Link

I was able to get the "force repeated refresh" Meta code to work, which is awesome because that's what I needed , however, I am running into a snag. I tried using both JavaScript and just a typical <a href> link, but when you click on either one the Meta Refresh ceases to process. Code is below. I tried plugging the meta http-equiv line into the Body section at various places just for fun, but that doesn't fix the issue. To be honest, the easiest fix here would be to simply load the URL in question immediately when opening Index.html (it's local, stored on my HDD) instead of having a link. Is this possible? As an affiliate I am going to be marketing various products at clickbank and instead of just referring my customers directly to the merchants sales page, I want to first capture their information with my own squeeze page, after I capture their names and email addresses and they click the submit button I have that link going to a thank you page, on this thank you page I am trying to redirect them directly to the sales page after collecting their info. It is here I am having the problems. I can redirect them ok but I am not able to redirect them and put in my hoplink so that I am the one that gets paid from my customers should they order from the sales page. Here is the html code I am using: <Meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="10; url=http://www.mydomainname.com/"> then in order to get paid my hoplink needs to be in there somewhere so I just addes it to the end of the redirect code above as follows: <meta http-equiv=REFRESH" content="10;url = http://www.mydomainname.com/">http://myclickbankID.freegoogle.hop.clickbank.net/> I tried two way just reversing the order which I type the hop link first and the redirect first. Putting the redirect first makes the redirect work but I can't get my hoplink to work with the redirect code. I need help. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. I am programming a page where many images load. It happens that the next time you visit the page, updated images with the same filename should load, but the older version of the image loads instead. I am guessing that it finds the image in the cache, with the same filename, and loads that one, thinking it's the image it's looking for. If I take away that thing before <html>, it works but in IE bg isn't transparent anymore. Is there anything what I can replace that doctype-thing and get that code work in Mozilla and IE? I first tested the code by using a different image that I found on Google and it worked. However, when I used her image it was broken. The next option I tried was I used my photobucket account and make an HTML reference to the image. Even when I upload it to photobucket it gives me an error. So...I don't know if it's still my problem or possibly she gave me the wrong product. The images were .jpg.
