HTML - Help On Turning This Image To A Front Page
I've done HTML for a while. A bit of CSS, not too much. This the first time I've made a design in photoshop and wanted to turn it into a website though.
Can someone give me soem guidance on the best way to turn this into a website? Thanks. I am new to this forum. Just read the rules, so I think I'm in the clear. I have a very new website set up with Drupal. Since it is limited in some respects, I installed a module to create a custom front page so that my banner and sundry aren't displayed on it. So, in exchange for this more advanced ability with the front page, I need to know how to write the HTML for it. xD I was hoping someone could help me, since it's (presumably) a very simple task for someone 'in the know.' I simply want my front page to display nothing 'but' a centered link image. I hope I'm not being to presumptuous here, but would it be relatively painless for someone to write this up for me? When sent through to Outlook 2000 All styles within tags are being re-written with "defanghtml" this in turn is turning all the styles of within the email's HTML code. I have a webpage filled with url links and of course the text turns purple when clicked on. How do I change this so the text stays blue even after being clicked on? Hi there, I am creating a website and I need to have a drop down list that can be added to by the front end user. For example I need a language drop down list that has say 5 languages in it. When someone visits my page and requires a language that is not in the drop down, they need to be able to add it in via a text box. What is the code for this? Thanks heaps, Raggy Hi there, I have 2 tables, the 1st is aligned on the left, the other on the right. Now i don't want them to cross, but if they do, I want the left table to slide over the right. At the moment the right-alligned tabel slides over the left. What should I do? i used to use tables for the layout, now i'm trying divs..the thing is i'm not sure how should i think about the layout, i mean like tables i have rows, every row have cells, now with the divs i should think about it the same way? a container div to replace the main table, then another div to take place of a row, then divs as cells..an so on does that make any sense? i don't know if that was clear, but the question is: how should i think about it? i know the question sounds stupid but it seems that i just got used to tables & can't accept divs yet Is there a way to prevent text (like a link) from being selected? I use +/- headers that expand or contract a paragraph, but when clicked rapidly the text is selected. The same thing for images? Now i need help because, i want to link each picture on the slideshow to a differnet page or external site, but im not sure how. (but so they can go to different pages not the same one) can anyone help me? I recently created a wordpress blog but I would like the visitors to come to a landing page before they reach the blog. This is the type of landing page I am looking for: http://creativetime.org/index.php - An image - The title of our site. When you click on it, you enter the blog - Credits at the bottom of the image. I have basic html knowledge. I browsed html tutorials but don't seem to find a solution. Any ideas? Thank you. hello, i am just learning html and creating my own website right now. i ran into a problem and would like some help. what i want to do is this. i created a page with pictures about 200x200 in size. now what i want to do is when you "click" onto the picture have it open up in a new window and a Larger size. But there is more. I would like to have the new window have my page Banner on top and my background Color around the image. I already know how to use a code that Will enlarge the image in a New window but that is all it is is just the image and plain white background. and not what i want to do. So what are my options for the easiest method to do what i am thinking of above. Any help is appreciated. |
