HTML - How To Align A Image To The Extreme Right/left

please help me. im trying to align both left and right side in the same line but it doesnt seem to work. im trying to line up the "Boys Varsity" and "Girls varsity" together. please help me out.

hi i'm new to htm, infact new to making websites at all.

i spent ages writting an intoduction, but some one deleted it.

i have started writting my first HTML page :

so far it's just some embeded movies from youtube.

my first problem is that i want to align text to the left of the video and centered vertically.

my second problem is that when i view the page source through mozilla i find some extra text that i cant see if i view the page in wordpad.

what does this text do, and how do i move it?

any advice about my page would be apprichiated, items to add etc,
the next thing i want to do is make a comments page.

Alright, well, I have been redesigning my website, and what I usually do when designing a website is design it, clean it up, then optimize it as best as I can.

Well, usually my trusty little web page speed test, apparently my new design is SUPER slow. It failed 4/7 areas for speed.

Note: This is the first time that I've designed all of the images and coding for my site, I used to just find a template, then redesign it to fit my needs.

Can someone tell me why it is failing the speed test?

PS: After looking closer at the speed test, apparently my entire page is almost 300KB!!!!!! What the heck!

First I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, it might need to be in a different language section. Sorry for that if it is.

I need to create a set of drop down boxes, most likely 6. Each box needs to have 4-5 different options in it. There is no order in which they need to be set up because the user HAS TO be able to start with whatever box they want. From their choice in the first box, certain selections in the other drop down boxes would have to be eliminated. Same with the second, third and so on. There can be no predetermined order of what one they start with because not all the boxes will apply to every user.

Another way to imagine the basic concept if I am not clear enough is go to any car website like kbb.com. When you first select the company who makes your car, Honda for example, the next box over will bring up a list of all the cars Honda makes. Then when you choose the car, Accord for example, the next box will give you the option of the manual or automatic and so on. I am kind of looking for this functionally, but I need it to be where you can start with any box and no matter what you choose in the first box, it does not eliminate all other choices, just 1 or 2 from each box (based on the selection).

I know this is kind of hard to understand, it is even harder for me to describe. lol. If you can give me any help that would be wonderful, even if it is just a language this would be able to be accomplished in. I would really like there to be a web version for a website as well as a stand alone program to run on computers (this will probably be done in C# I am guessing).

I have a list of items and I want to display image on the right side of one list item.

How can i do it?

For example:

I want to display a rectangle figure on the right side of 'Coffee' text.

I'm having trouble trying to align an image to the top and right.
If I just use <img src="" align=right> it goes right as far as I want it, but for some reason the image falls below the text line and appears odd.

If I use <img src="" align=top> it goes with the text line like it should, but then it's not to the right like it should be.

Isn't there some way to combine the two?

<img src="" align=right align=top> doesn't work.

hello, im kinda a noobie here, i cant align my image! I need it to be centered, but i cant seem to find how. How would you do this?

Dont know how to explain this but i have some flash centered in the middle of the screen and i would like to put a image that to the left and right of the centered flash im running at 1024x768, i did seem to manage this but when i tried a higher resolution the flash stopped center and the left and right image kept to the left and far right of the screen when what i wanted is the left and right image to stay flush left and right to the centered flash.

Below is my code minus the left and right image, could someone help me add a image to the left and right of the centered flash, so even if the resolution is increased the left and right image will stay flush with the centered flash.

I i open this code in FF i get some padding on the left side of the image which is ok, but when i open it in IE i don't get this padding.
Is there any way that I have this padding in IE?

My name is Salman im new to this forum. i currently program in asp. But now one of my relative want's me to do some work for his website which has already been developed by somebody but due to some conflict that guy left in between.
the site is Utsaveu.com.
Now what my Relative needs is he wants some images on the white band on the left of the website. I have managed to create some pages and menu's for him but images on that white band i couldn't. i fiddled with the div tags of the website but always ended up in spoling the orientation. Plzz help me. and plzz reply with what code will be relevant to post for this problem of mine.

Hi All,

if there a way of adding two images with a title in the middle.

For example

"Image" This is a example "Image2"

With both images flush against the borders.

Because at the moment mine looks daft lol!!

The RightTopImage needs to be obviously Top right of the webpage, and then there will be an image to the left of the webpage with the title in the middle...

i just have a cell where i want to align the contents to the upper left and stay there .. simple right

i've tried html and css styles but can't get safari and IE to display the same thing..

surely this is easy..i've even validated the html..

it works in safari but not in IE - i've tried using CSS styles but can't seem to find the attribute to "stick it in the top left corner" - valign does the trick in safari too but doesn't work in IE..

what have i gotta do - thanks for your helps..

I need to apologize beforehand for asking help with such a aimple process. I'm doing a site exclusively in HTML. It looks pretty good for my first attempt, but I can't find data ANYWHERE online to vertically align images. The site is frames, the top frame just displays an image, I need the image to self-center to accommodate other screen resolutions. Perhaps I need to align the text(that isn't there), and then align the image to it? Thanks in advance, Tom
