HTML - Click A Button = Adds To A Counter Html Code?
Heya, This is my first post on the forums =]
I just wanted to ask if anyone knew a code that produced a clickable button on your website that when clicked by a website visiter raises the number of a visable counter by 1? And, if possible one that could only be pressed once by the same IP address or Computer. I hope this is clear enough =] I don't mean a site counter that raises the number everytime someone comes onto the site. Similar TutorialsI have an HTML button on my webpage. When the button is clicked it opens the URL link. <input type="button" value="home" onclick="main.location.href='http://www.srisri.org'"/> I want to modify the button such that after clicking the button not only opens the webpage but also the font of the button changes to bold red. if the 1st vote button is hitted twice then if i hit 2nd vote button so it jumps to 3 instead of 1 ....please help i m doing this for my college ...not a project just ......doingit !! It looks fine in IE, but firefox is adding some extra left padding to it. Setting margin and padding to the img does not help. Anyone know of a workaround? See the page at http://newsite.mortgageisrael.com/sh....asp?pageid=18 (2 places) HTML: Code: <button type="submit" class="formButton" style="width:77px"><img src="images/submit.gif" alt="Submit"/></button> CSS: Code: .formButton{ font-weight: bold; margin-top: 10px; cursor: pointer; height:25px; border:1px solid black; padding: 0px; text-align:center; } .formButton IMG{ padding: 0px; margin: 0px; } Thanks My apologies if this belongs in a different forum. I'm creating an order form for a site and I need to add something I've never done before. I want content to be added to the form if the user clicks on a certain radio button. At the bottom of the form there are fields for the subtotal and total of the items that they're inputting at the top of the form. By clicking on a radio button I want to do either of the following. 1) A new table cell appears with text and an input field that has a number already in it. 2) The above cell and content are already on the page, and the clicking of the radio button only adds the info into the empty input. The first option I assume is a little more complicated and probably deals with CSS and/or Javascript. Option 1 is preferred but if I can only do number 2 then I'll deal. Just a note, I'm not doing any actual number calculations with this form. It's just raw numbers so there's no need to take that into consideration. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. hii... i had made an template and place all my code inside it it is running fine but the button is not getting near to the image can u help me with that or tell me how to do it ....and i had used software to convert template from powerpoint with a software called ppt2 flash standard and it has it logo of that website on the buttom of my template how to remove it !! It looks fine if I don't click the play button, but the moment I click the play button, it would disappear and reappear around 15-20 pixels lower. Here is my code for a simple audio player: HTML: Code: <div id="audioplayer"> <span class="eightonesmall" id="audiotext"> Background music control</span> <audio controls="controls"> <source src="music/liangzhuhualuowuhui.ogg" type="audio/ogg" /> <source src="music/liangzhuhualuowuhui.mp3" type="audio/mp3" /> </audio> </div> CSS: Code: body { margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; overflow:hidden; background-image:url(../pictures/drawings/backgrounds/menubackgroundbubbles.png); background-position:center; background-attachment:fixed; } #audiotext { vertical-align:middle; color:#CCCCCC; } #audioplayer { position:fixed; top:10px; right:10px; border:3px double #FFF; height:30px; } The same problem occurs for an audio player that I've set to hidden, and will appear if I click an arrow and disappear if I click another arrow. It hides it and re-appears fine, just the player shifts down 15-20 pixels if I click play... HTML: Code: <div class="collapsearrow"> <img src="pictures/thumbnails/musicboxbuttons/collapsearrow.png" alt="collapsearrow" onclick="document.getElementById('song1').style.visibility='visible';"/>Liangzhu </div> <div id="song1" style="visibility:hidden;"> <img src="pictures/thumbnails/musicboxbuttons/contractarrow.png" alt="contractarrow" onclick="document.getElementById('song1').style.visibility='hidden';"/> <audio id="musicboxplayer" controls="controls"> <source src="music/liangzhuhualuowuhui.ogg" type="audio/ogg" /> <source src="music/liangzhuhualuowuhui.mp3" type="audio/mp3" /> </audio> </div> CSS: Code: #musicboxplayer { position:relative; width:86px; height:25px; } .collapsearrow { float:left; } #song1,#song2,#song3,#song4 { width:150px; float:left; } Does anyone know what's causing this? Thanks. I'm having a really weird problem with a standard submit button I'm trying to create. When I preview the site (GoLive CS3) the button doesn't always 'click' or 'depress' down. I can't figure out what is causing this. Anyone here ever seen this happen? Hello there, I designed my site at www.officelive.com, and I'm having a heck of a time getting a "no right click" code installed. There's really no access to the site's HTML except for viewing the source code. Even when I simply copy the site's code and paste it back in an HTML module, it's all messed up. Can I have you take a look at a little sample site I did and see what you can do? Worse comes to worse, I can always put my site with a different host where I can use the no right click code. Please email me. L J |
