HTML - Frames Not Displaying The Content..
hii,
i'm using a 3 html frames in my web page, top, left and rite content frames. i'm using draggable frames, every thing is fine, but i want to show my user session time out in that main page(containing 3 framesets), below is the code. i dun know waht had happened, the content is not getting displayed except the title. can anyone please help me.. below is my code Code: <html dir='ltr'>

i cannot see any content except the title.. please suggest me how to proceed.. Many Thanks. Similar TutorialsI am making a website and need to display some web content in several dozen parts of the page. The web content is made up of php scripts, and I don't really want to have to make copies of it all over the place, so I was hoping to use frames. A simplified example of what I want to do is this: I have a website at example.com, now I have a subdomain at a.example.com. I want a.example.com to look exactly the same as example.com (I want to be able to navigate through a.example.com exactly the same way I would through example.com). None of my links are absolute (ie. they're all /this/is/a/subdir), so I assume this is possible. Can someone point me in the right direction here please? I'm not new to html or php but have never used frames before. I was wondering if there is a way to display a section of another webpage, such as a table, through a separate site. Obviously I could just copy the code from one of my pages to the other, but I would prefer if it would automatically take the code from one page and display on another? I hope I am making a bit of sense. Nick C. Hi, I am writing a Perl function that needs to be able to display some simple text and two png images. I would like to be able to display them all in a row so that the text fields are in the left "column", the png's are in the middle and right "columns" and, finally, there is an input field next to the rightmost png. I've Googled everything I could think of and nothing seems to do the trick. In particular the png images need to be displayed using the HTML equivalent of the following Perl code: Code: print "Content-type: image/png\n\n"; print $wordPNG; and I haven't been able to figure out how to get more than one of these statements into the html. In a pinch I would be happy to display the three groups vertically as long as I can get an input field next to the last png. Any advice is appreciated. Regards. hi all - can anyone advise as to what might be the issue - a new html email newsletter i've modified from an existing template behaves differently in that the content doesn't display along with the images until you choose to download them. so instead of just seeing text without images, the entire email is blank. has anyone encountered this/can possibly advise? many thanks, tania Greetings I have 3500 pages of content on my site and i would like to monetize all of them by placing some adds. The problem is that my advertisers might change sometimes and i don't want to update all the pages each time i decide to go for some other advertiser so i tought i should use another html file that would be displayed on all the 3500 pages and each time i would modify this file, it would update on all the 3500 pages. I would like the page to be search engine friendly too, if possible. Also don't want to use frames. So there would be small window 200 x 200 in size that would display the content of the seperate file on all these 3500 pages. So how should i do this, would java script be something to consider? I don't know much about php and would not like to use it, what would be the easyest way to do this? Also there can not be any borders in this window and it needs to be embedded in to all these 3500 pages, in exact size of 200 x 200. This system needs to work in IE, Firefox, netscape and opera!! Turhapuro I've heard many times "don't use frames, there is better ways to accomplish it", and I was wondering, is this just referring to "invisible" frames, or any frames? For example, look at Kingdom of Loathing. They use frames (or what appears to be frames) and I can't see how they could successfully make that site without. If I had to have all the screens scroll as one rather than separate, and couldn't resize when I needed to, it would be extremely annoying. So, frames are bad, or just the invisible ones? Hi, Im trying to make my footer content align correctly to the main content when a window resizes. Now when I make links using the text in the frame, it opens the new page in that frame which is not what I want. Ideally I would like it to open in another frame and keep the menu bar frame on the left side. So i guess that makes my question two part. This is were my problem occurs. All the options don't show up. So I was just wondering it is possible to overlay the -Menu frame over the -Content frame? Thank you. look i know that frames are bad but i have a good cause to use them XD all im wondering is - "For every one of the frames that i use, in the source file of the frame will i need to put the standard tags e.g. doctype, html, head, body, meta, title or can i just start with the code and it will work????" never used frames before so this is why im asking??? personally i think i will need to put in the standard tags because frames work differently to the PHP include function which practically copy and pastes the code into the file where you put your include function if im not mistaken???
