HTML - Html Search And Replace Software

Hi all! I'm new to this forum. I'm not very tech savvy so this is probably why I'm about to lose my mind trying to figure out the solution to my problem....

I would like a good software program where I can create templates in html format so that I can email for marketing purposes. I've tried a few online services and their limitations have me beating my head against the wall. I don't know html code. And I don't need to build a website. And I don't want to spend an outrageous amount of money. But I do want to create a template that will get to someones inbox, not junk mail, and arrive without attachments. I need the software to be user friendly & have an easy interface where I can easily edit using a visual editing tool. Does that exist?

I tried searching on the internet for my question, but strangely have yet to find anything. Hopefully something will turn up soon - but here is my question in the meantime:

I have a webpage that has a flash sequence that you must click on to take you to the rest of the site. But for browsers that don't have flash (like phones), I want that flash sequence to be replaced by some html code - like an image that you can click to take you to the site.

I feel like that's a pretty basic question - so if you know the answer, I would really appriciate your help!

Quite some time ago I was faced with putting a website together for the first time for a local community group (my wife nominated me!). Rather than tell you all what it contains and how it looks, it is probably easier for me to give you the link which is the Friends of Clifton Park based in South Yorkshire, UK.

This website consists of eight html pages. The first is the index, second is the welcome page and the rest are linked pages via links on the left.

On every of the "linked" pages, only the main body changes, with the exception of each link showing in Caps and link disabled.

The problem I'm having is that every single one of the linked html pages are the same, except the displayed text. 90% is the page set-up.

So my question is: Is it possible to "import" the required text information when a link is clicked on straight into the main body of ONE html page? btw, you'll notice that the page height isn't fixed, it expands depending on amount of information in it.

I have tried IFRAME but don't really seem to be getting anywhere as I can't seem to make the height auto-adjust. A specified height value has to be entered for each "page". This is no good as more information will be needed to be put on.

So basically what I am trying to do is:
Keep the index.html Change the welcome.html to display the main page (graphics/images, etc) Import text into main body into the welcome.html page when a link is clicked on.
Thus reducing the need of duplicate html pages and just having text files containing the main body text.

The main reason for wanting to do this is a) stop all the duplication of page set-up in each html file, and b) make it easier for the guy that wants to add information where needed, straight into notepad (txt file) and upload it to the website.

In my company we have a server to which everyone is connected. Since we use a large panel of legal texts, someone compiled them and listed them in a word doc with hyperlinks that lead to PDFs. He then saved the doc as HTML and put the entire 'database' into a folder located on the server. The html doc appears in Firefox on each PC of ours as a link and since we all have access to the common server it is like a local website. Quite simple and easy to use.

I would like to add a search field to the document that would enable us to search directly in the folder that includes all the pdfs and inside those documents.

Since I know very little in html I am not even sure if it is possible. Great thanks for your help!

I would like to have add a search functionality to my site. It would allow the users would enter a phrase and the entire web site's html would be searched to see if this phrase exists.

Does anyone know of any existing code or module that does this? Something Java based would prefereable.

I am just getting back into html and im already having a few problems. I am making this website for my parents to help promote their new college and so far its look excellent except for the fact that I cant get this pesky search and dropdown list to align right.

Unfortunately my website has to work in an offline mode too so no online solution is possible. The javascript engine cchana linked is unfortunately very limited and pretty much useless.

I made update to the HTML code of an website. After update, I searched a content in google. Still google searches the previous HTML content in search results. If I open the search result, new updated HTMl code is displayed. My question is how to remove completely the information more google search results. Please help.

Here's my problem: in my Adsense account a channel came up that I may have set up months ago. The channel name is "best side" and I cannot find the text in my HTML files stored on disk.

How can I search my whole website for this search term but in the source code? Because that channel can be found in the original Adsense code in my site but I don't know on which page it is.

Any ideas?

P.S. I know I could view source of each page separately and search but I have too many pages and it would take me hours.
