HTML - The Best Way Of Creating Custom Buttons?

Hey, so I've been getting no luck with this, I finally managed to get a tool tip to work, but I'm a perfectionist and wont quit til its perfect. Heres my code for the particular section I'm trying to get to work:

So I've tried all sorts of other commands in css and It's not changing, I've been working from a template I'm in no means 100% knowledgeable in html/css but I gather the basic concepts. Now generally what I'm trying to accomplish is to get the tooltip to pop up to the right of the word "Acer" (It always pops up underneath) And the tooltip pops up when your on any part of the line Acer is on, I want it to op up only when you highlight the word.

Hi everyone,

I really don't know much about this topic, so I'd like some advice.

I need to add some scrollbars to an iframe. They can be anything except the OS's scrollbars. As long as I can change the color or the shape or something to customize them that is great.

Also, I read that this can only be done on IE. Is it possible to do it on other browsers. I also heard that it is possible through Flash?

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Ok, I figured out how to embed an audio clip into the web page that works pretty well across multiple browsers. The code looks like this: Code:

My question is, is it possible to add to that code so only a custom PNG file is visible until you click it and then the player begins? I don't even necessarily need the player to be visible. Can the audio simply play once when the PNG is clicked? What would that code look like? Thx.

I am having issues with a myspace layout, I usually do my own, but my friends band had another guy do it. In the process he made a custom mast header and the music player is not showing up. Here is the coding, can someone help fix this please.

I'm looking to make a blog for free, but one that doesn't advertise what service it is allover my layout (or anywhere on my layout, to be precise).

So I'm thinking I may have to turn to hosting my own blog and using something like Drupal or Joomla? Is there a free service online that has no ads, and would it be difficult to make my own layout for that service? I remember I used to be able to plug in the tags for blogger's dynamic content and use a noembed tag to get rid of their god awful bar at the top, but those things no longer work for me it seems!

Might sound like as silly question...

I'm an Android application developer. Recently i developed an app to track down the location of the cell phone using inbuilt GPS Receiver. Now, the user gets the coordinates and needs to enter it into a web site text input to get the exact location of his cell phone.

I just want two input type="text" field and one input type="Button".
inside input types, user needs to fill in Latitude and Longitude value and on clicking the button, a new windows should pop up with a google maps url like the following : -
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=28.422523,77.102102
where 28.422523 and 77.102102 are two text field contents passed from input type="text".
Thats it.
I tried but on submission of the button, the url becomes
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=28.422523&r=77.102102
which doesn't work since google maps cant resolute the url. I cudn't remove "&" and "=" sign and replace it with a ",".

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a form with a Text Field and a Button. Pretty straightforward. Is there a way to get to a custom web page if a user writes a "trigger"-word in the Text Field and click on Submit? For example if he wrote USJ 298 he would come to usj.html and if he wrote USX 047 he would come to usx.html.

Is it possible to do in HTML and/or without a database query?

hello.
i do my best to keep all of my html valid and because custom scrollbars dont validate i decided to put the css for that in a separate stylesheet. soo my pages have two stylesheets on them , i dont know if that makes a difference or not but my problem is that the scrollbars remain the default scrollbar when i wth the doctype on the page. i use XHTML1.0 Transitional. when i remeve the doctype the scrollbar works fine.

is their a way to doo this while keeping my doctype?

Hi: We are having a problem with an eBay Custom Storefront template. HTML is not one of my strengths, so if we could get a little help it would be greatly appreciated.

At the top of our template it shows our feedback number as well as several icons such as "top rated seller", about me, store icon, etc. This feedback number should change when we get a new feedback, it does not. Everywhere else in eBay the number changes fine and the code looks the same to me. I think the section of code below is the relevant section.
