HTML - How Is Html Written By People Of Other Languages?
Hi,
How is html written by people of other languages? Whether they use same tags(ie. <body> etc.) or use different names for their tags? Similar TutorialsToday's websites, most people focus on building them with more advanced languages such as PHP & MySQL, am I right? Do people still build full websites using only HTML and CSS? The only HTML/CSS sites I really see nowadays are usually old informational static websites that never change. hello, do you know some free CMS written in XHTML? I found http://opensolution.org/?p=Quick.Cms but it uses flat files database and I'm not sure if it will work good. Do you have some experience using Quick.Cms ? or have some other CMS written in xhtml? Greetings. I have written a random lottery number generating program in dhtml. The program can generate hundreds of 6 number set lottery numbers in one go. These number sets are written on a frame. To clear this frame, I have to refresh the whole web page. Hi, im in the middle of creating my website and need some help with stopping people from going to a page in my website manually. Basically, i've set up a contact form and once it's filled in, it sends you to a thankyou page. I want to stop people going to that page manually by typing in the url for it. Hi I'm setting up a site that sells images that the user creates online by selecting a combination of PNG images with transparency (using drop down menus). The images are layered using CSS, and the last layer has a watermark image to help prevent print screen copies. I then use PHP to create a composite image of the user's final work, that they can then buy. The only problem is that there is nothing to stop the user from bringing up each individual image on a new browser page using the address of each image eg http://www.mysite.com/images/image1.png - downloading or print screening them, and making their own composite image. I was wondering if there is a way to prevent someone accessing the individual images by typing something like http://www.mysite.com/images/image1.png in a fresh browser tab? I found something using .htaccess - but I don't fully understand it - I think it isn't meant to do what I need: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$ RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(.*\.)?mysite.com [NC] RewriteRule \.(jpeg|jpg|gif|png)$ - [F] It is supposed to stop hot linking, but I think that's a different problem. Thanks for your time and help. Shaun I just upgraded all my .HTML pages to .PHP . But now I noticed that when my pages pull up in the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN. They still show the old .HTML links?? When they click on the webpages from the search engines results you get error 404 page cannot be found. How can I update the search engines or add code to my page so the search engines will reflect the new .PHP pages. Also it's been over a good week since I've update to .PHP Thank you all in advanced!! Many thanks Hi everyone, I've been searching around the web trying to find out how I can send using Outlook a html and text email newsletter automatically. I am quite happy creating html only newsletters, and text ones for that matter, but I have been digging and believe that by using multi-part code I can send to both and the recipients email client "allows" whichever version to be displayed - does this sound right? I'm hoping to simply create the html with the relevent mime references and boundaries (dont know what they are but have seen them on enough Google'd pages to know that they mean something!) and then copy and paste into Outlook - the newsletter is only going out to a few people at a time. Any suggestions or advice would be very greatly appreciated. Regards Allan Hi, so I'm trying to make this e-mail newsletter. It's entirely images, tables and text. So no javascript, just plain stuff. I tried attaching it as a signiture file and I had trouble sending it. It also didn't come out right. I'm trying to avoid using a software. Its basically just a block of HTML I need to show up as the only content in an email. If you just put HTML into a email text field, it just shows the HTML code in the email as text.
