HTML - ★★★input Button Inside Frame... How To Make It Open Up In Parent Browser?
Okay, with frames, whenever there is a link that you want to open up in the parent browser rather than inside the frame, all you have to add to the link code is "target="_parent"". However, for INPUT BUTTONS(not links) this doesn't seem to be the case.
This is my input button code: HTML Code: <input id="button" type="button" value="Submit!"> the input button is INSIDE A FRAME, and because of that, when I click on it- the link goes inside the frame... how do I make it so the input button links to the PARENT browser? Similar TutorialsI want to display the current page URL in an input box, so users can copy the url from the input box rather than from the adress bar. Hey. I have a frame and inside it there is a link. I want it to target an anchor called Code: <a name="anchor"></a> that is INSIDE it's own frame. I tried Code: <a href="#anchor"> but it tries to reload the entire page, and doesn't just "jump" to the anchor like it normally would. How do I do this? Thanks I have semi-protected my website (nothing important) by having a frameset, and a login page for the first visible page. However, if I'm somewhere in the website and I refresh the page, the browser refreshes the entire frameset and I'm back to the original login page (which is flash). Is there any way to redirect the refresh, so that once I'm in the website, only the frame with content refreshes? The frameset is *,100%, so I only want the 100% to refresh, see... SetPrompt is just a javascript method from my frame called fraMap that sets the text of a textbox. Can someone please tell me how to accomplish this in Firefox? Hello, I kinda new to advanced web coding. I have a question: On my website, I want to make a button. When you click on it, it will pop-up with a frame (It would help if it's an iFrame, from an other HTML document). The frame should dim/gray out the background site. A perfect example would be one on those really annoying website content lockers, that make you complete some scam thing such as sign up for something, or complete a survey, but mine will open from a button, and will have a close box. An other not so perfect example is lightbox, how it open a frame, and greys out the background site. Anyways, In that frame will be an image gallery. It will use lightbox. Since this frame will cover about 90% of the screen (centered), lightbox will still open just in the covering frame. I would really appreciate some advice, or even better, a tutorial or link to one.
