HTML - Styling Iframe
Hello
i have an iframe in my site that is loaded from another site, hence i cannot modify text properties but is there a way to add a style or something to the iframe so all text and links (especially links) to be with the color white ? thanks Similar TutorialsHi, Can anyone see a reason why this wouldn't work? If i change the styling to table, it apply the padding to the table, but trying to apply padding to the tr doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks, Matthew Millar Hi. I am trying to copy a layout from another application which my application will fit into (as a plugin) so obviously I would like the whole styling etc... being the same look and feel. unfortunately for this "grid" part, there is no CSS or styling info really, except for the color codes, so that's better than nothing, but what my concern and problem is that I cannot get it to look the same and no idea how to make it the same. The image attached is the original image which I am trying to make my version look like. The header cells/table contains a black image to seperate the "columns" - firstly how do I get that? (I do have the image but unsure how to actually place it where the cell ends for each column) any advice and tips are much appreciated and welcomed. I'm having trouble getting a table to stay within its containing DIV. No matter what I do, I can't reduce the widths of the cells to make it fit. All cells are the same width, and using the width attribute to adjust them (either in the table or the td tags) doesn't help. Any suggestions? I'm willing to use DIV's to format the data, but it is tabular data and I think the table is still the best way to display it. Thanks Here is the page I am currently working on. Everything is funtioning and working properly. But there's a problem. I validate my page and I get errors fo the style sheets in the head. It is the cause of like 5 errors on my page. Theres 2 other errors are so, but they are fixable and I will get to them after I fix the style sheet errors. NOTE: The default style sheet is chose using PHP. I've been cracking my head trying to solve this: How can I insert a iframe [i.e. 300x200px] inside of another iframe [i.e. 700x500px] and pull different web content n each one? kind of concentric iframes or like a 'Donut iframe' Now here is my problem. I'm not familiar with other laguages then html and a little bit of javascript and I wanted to make a site for me and my brothers photography company. I currently using dreamweaver and have figured out the way I want to make this site. I tried using ordinary frames, but I want the website to be aligned in the middle and I could make that happen. That is why I went into iframes and a regular table on the index page. My problem now is that I have several iFrames and I want a link from one to open in another. http://www.trans4mind.com/personal_d...e/iframes3.htm here is a link for this to happen, and the simple solution is to name the frame and then target the link. but I have tried that and when the link is from one iframe to another it won't work. If the link is on the index page and target the iframe then it works. Do you have any idea why this happens? I know it's possible since the link above does it. How come the following script is not working? It worked all fine, until i duplicated it to make tabs. Also, for my prompt box, it says "enter in blah blah in the next page", because for some reason whenever you click ok it goes to another prompt which says undefined, and that is the one it actually uses. The problem is that when I click the "links" i have at the side, it doesn't actually go to the link inside the iframe, and when i click the back button it actually doesn't go back (my back button) The content in the white part of this page... http://www.limotraveler.com/reservations.htm is loaded in an iframe. If you click on Create Profile the page does not load in Internet Explorer, yet it works fine in Firefox. I have tried many times in the past month to find a fix on this issue & without any luck am posting it here. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this? Now if you go this page & click create profile... https://www.smartcarsinc.com/reservations/ ... everything works fine. This is the exact page that my iframe points to. So somewhere the iframe is causing an issue. I have also tried to set this up in a regular frame (something I definitely did not want to do) & it did not work that way either. I want scrolling bars but not on the pages that don't necessarily need them. I set the scrolling to "Auto" and decreased the table size of the pages that are supposed to be loaded into the iFrame but this doesn't remove the scrolling bars. Any help is greatly appreciated. In other words, when I go to my website, in the iframe I would like to see a specific part of a website located in the middle of the site. Right now the iframe is set to load the page at the top left corner when the size of the iframe is 200 by 200 pixels. Because of this small iframe, it is vital that I only see the part of the webpage I want to see so I dont have to scroll around in the iframe to find it. I hope someone understands what I mean...
