HTML - Make It So Your Website Doesn't Work In Frames?
Is there code that can detect when your page is being embedded and kill the frame?

When I load the site directly from freespacia the submit button works, but when I access the site on .co.cc, the submit button does not work. What could be the problem? Oye, I am trying to complete this teeny photo album I've been working on ... and I just about completed .. when I tested the Site in various browsers (mozilla, Explorer 8, Safari, Google Chrome) ... i noticed one of the frames is not showing in Google Chrome. How odd? here is the site: xxx There are three teeny shaded squares in a frame that is designated a height of 70 pixels and a width of i believe 100% ... it is visible on Mozilla, Explorer, Safari ... any ideas? is my source code screwy? Thanks! I am starting to write a page for my site but I noticed that the <frame> attribute has been discontinued in HTML5. Since I am starting from scratch, I figured it best to try to stick to the current proper standards. So I guess i-frames is the best thing to do. I actually had the basic layout finished with using frames, only to realize they were depreciated, so I am switching to i-frames. The concept is pretty easy/generic. The i-frames have me stumped as I can not seem to get them to play nicely an appear side by side. If I click view source, I can see it is trying to load the 2 i-frames. If I remove the tables,divs, and other styling info, then everything shows up but the i-frames still will not show side by side properly. Hi, I am currently building a website and am wondering if there is a way that I can change a section on a website once - which then will automatically change on other the other pages. Hope the title made sense, I am using Microsoft Expression Web and, I am also using Frames on my website. I have 3 Frames, One complete at the top, one on the left side and then a main page frame to fill the rest. I am using a 19" wide screen monitor, and because of that the pages I make are all unaligned with each other as they get stretched to fill the monitor. now the top frame and left frame stay where they should I have done that, but I can't keep the main page frame from moving over to the right and making everything look untidy and nasty. so could anyone help me out with this problem please, I use a background Image, text and images on the page so they all need to stay centered bu to the left of the page. I have just stumbled across this group whilst investigating an issue I am having with a website, what a great resource you have here. I look after the website for my local volunteer fire brigade and I have maintained it for a number of years without any major problems. However in the last couple of weeks it has become apparent that the website is not loading all of the frames for the pages. This appears to only be an issue when browsing with Internet Explorer, as it all looks fine in Firefox. The website is located at http://www.mvcfs.asn.au/ It is only very basic, as that is my current level of HTML programming, I am considering changing to an alternate web layout program like Wordpress, however I haven't looked too much into the details of it yet. I have tried loading this page in I.E. on a number of different computers and they all suffer the same problem, I am currently using version 8.0.600 right now and it is not working, the Firefox version I am viewing it on is 8.0 and that appears to work ok. Is anyone able to suggest a possible solution to this issue, I haven't made any significant changes to the site in the last couple of weeks, so I am not sure why this problem has suddenly come up. Okay, I received some pictures from a fashion designer to use for her Web site. I first tested the code by using a different image that I found on Google and it worked. However, when I used her image it was broken. The next option I tried was I used my photobucket account and make an HTML reference to the image. Even when I upload it to photobucket it gives me an error. So...I don't know if it's still my problem or possibly she gave me the wrong product. The images were .jpg. I can't realise what's wrong, since when I preview site in IE6 it acts like conditional statement is not there. It should display page with no style, but still the page is displayed with style.css styling. You can check it out on: http://www.byethost.com/ for page is very simple. Thank's in advance! Okay I have tested the following code in all browsers and IE is the only one that it doesn't work for for .html pages. It does work for .asp pages though. I do not want to use iframes. IE also doesn't use my text settings, like the margins I chose. I'm not sure how to fix this. I used to make websites a lot, but haven't in a few years, not since CSS was just starting to be popular, and I feel quite lost! When I tried changing some other settings, like : <colgroup span="3" style="background-color:red;" />, FireFox renders the code correctly.
