HTML - Unable To Get Click Sound On Clicking On <img> Button

I've run into a problem. I've got hyperlinks triggering a JS function, using this code:

The JS function I'm triggering is used to artificially update the browser history. (This is because of AJAX requests, and I'm doing it using the Really Simple History library.)

Now, unfortunately, updating the browser history triggers IE's "click" sound. That would be fine except the hyperlink also triggers that sound, so you get two clicks in close succession! If possible I'd like to disguise one of them so you only hear one click.

I can do this by triggering the JS function with a FORM button instead of a hyperlink. But then you lose the CSS attributes that you can decorate hyperlinks with. I want it as much as possible to look like a normal website.

So what I'm after is a way to make clickable, "decoratable" text that triggers JS without triggering the click sound. In other words, a silent hyperlink.

Is there such a thing?

If I click on second radio button I want to change the form action.

I want to redirect to another file (change form action if possible) if I click on second radio button

My apologies if this belongs in a different forum.

I'm creating an order form for a site and I need to add something I've never done before. I want content to be added to the form if the user clicks on a certain radio button. At the bottom of the form there are fields for the subtotal and total of the items that they're inputting at the top of the form.

By clicking on a radio button I want to do either of the following.

1) A new table cell appears with text and an input field that has a number already in it.

2) The above cell and content are already on the page, and the clicking of the radio button only adds the info into the empty input.

The first option I assume is a little more complicated and probably deals with CSS and/or Javascript. Option 1 is preferred but if I can only do number 2 then I'll deal. Just a note, I'm not doing any actual number calculations with this form. It's just raw numbers so there's no need to take that into consideration.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm working on a simple website in which I'm required to use two types of forms input on a webpage. I have decided to make a simple quiz which will be designed as follows;

Is this possible in HTML? Sounds quite straight-forward but I'm no expert so forgive me..

Ps: Is it possible to design a radio button which, depending on the choice, the related-text will appear underneath on the same page? So if they select 'A' then paragraph 'A' will show, if they select 'C' then paragraph 'C' will appear (with the rest hiding)...

Ok, I'm wanting to add a text box to my site and when you click a button it'll open the letters in the text box as a url for my site

For example, in the text box I have hello

when I click the button it'll open up http://htmlforums.com/hello.htm

I also need to know how to add .htm to after the string in the text box when you click the button.

I also want this to open in the same window.

I need to make a button whose value is "times clicked: 0" and the number increments every time the button is clicked so after one time it should say times clicked: 1

I got a question tht puzzeled me whole day and i dont know how to solve,Can you please help me? My main page is at /usr/local/share/HT/html/server/index.html. Now that inside my main page i want to do a link by a button click to the another page, say page 8. page 8 is at /data/website. But whenever i tyr to click on tht button, it says "PAge not found"

I have a form and instead of clicking on a "Submit Button". I would like to have a text link that can be clicked to submit the action. Any ideas.

I just wanted to ask if anyone knew a code that produced a clickable button on your website that when clicked by a website visiter raises the number of a visable counter by 1? And, if possible one that could only be pressed once by the same IP address or Computer.
I hope this is clear enough =]

I don't mean a site counter that raises the number everytime someone comes onto the site.
