HTML - Why Wont My Bacground Image On My Header Show Up?

I am coding a page in strait HTML. It was going fine until I put in a list. When I put the list in, it wont show, just caused a large area of blank space. Below is the code I used for the list. Let me know if you need the whole page. I am new to this and would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

i have little problem i made this little ad for my brothers site but my table wont show at firefox? it works perfectly with Safari and Internet Eplorer here is the Code:

Hi to everyone,have just made my first site,its basically a sales page that i made in word 2010,i have added 1 graphic(jpg) and a watermark running through the page,i have managed to upload it through my ftp panal,but when i go online to view my page the graphic and watermark are missing(in firefox) and the graphic is missing in IE(but the watermark is visible),and they have been replaced by boxes with a symbol in the top left corner,i saved the copy as indexhtml,any help would be much appreciated,simon

What could this be? Do you see the web elements from google when checking the page in IE?

i know this is prob somethin simple but iv tried everythin n cant get the image to display......

i no my code is right, its got to do with the actual pic, i have the right file type(gif), i have tried resizing it, saving it under diff file types by using gif converters!!

but nothing seams to work... and yet the other pic's beside it work!! originally it was a micro visio diagram....

when i load the page into IE the normal gif,jpg images work. but when i right click on the image thats not working and go to properties its says not associated!

ok, ive tested this several ways and im stuck, ive coded the PHP navbar pretty much the same as the HTML version of my site.. but in th PHP page it wont show.

I wanted to add a header image to my Tumblr (blog) theme.

Basically I wanted to have a rectangular image appear on every page on my site (kind of like this website and most others). I wanted it to be at the very top, above all links and appear on every page. I also want the image to be a link to the homepage (like the one here on htmlforum.com)

Other than that if you could tell me what code I need to center everything instead of having it be on the left (as in the preview link) that would be great.

I really don't know much about this stuff so thorough instructions will be much appreciated. I dont know whether to put this in HTML or CSS, but I will send my HTML if you want, it was just too long to paste here.

Hi experts, would it be possible for any advice on a header issue please.

I have created a website at www.ukdecals.com the website expands to fit most browsers and i've tried it in IE9 and Firefox, to me everything looks fine at my monitor settings of 1152 x 864 pxls

But a friend has just sent me a screen shot from his screen on his computer in IE9 and the header seems to not be expanding in length across the page, would anyone one be able to view the source code and see if they could spy the problem, i've looked at it myself and i can't see it, but only learning html in the last couple of months, i'll admit that this ones got me stumped.

I'd appreciate any help you could give.

Hi all, I'm trying to make my background (which contains my logo and site name) to be clickable to my site's URL.
