If you look at http://www.bkriegtech.net/2008/ in firefox you will see my left nav bar, the bullets go outside of the frame. How do I fix that?
Similar TutorialsOk, so i uploaded my page to the web and for some reason the bullets are not showing up inside the table cells of the Toppings table to my page. for some reason it shows up fine in Chrome, but in IE and Firefox, they show up to the left of the table cells making it look weird? does someone know how to make it so it shows up the way it does in chrome for all browsers? whats wrong with my code? heres the page... http://valspizzaplace.com/newwebsite...inos/pizza.php ahh this is frustrating, i can't figure out and its probably something simple. When combining lists w/ bullets (I use adobe golive) Is there a way (in the source code perhaps) to eliminate the the bullet from the first item being bulleted? why you might ask? because I want my bulleted list to be directly under the first item, by default, my software creates a big space between the last item and the bulleted list. Hope this makes sense. thanks for the help, I'm uder too much pressure here. I would like to line up the bullets (<li type="disc">) with the other text. They are too far to the left. What code will do that? Thanks. Thanks, -sbs Hey there. I'm totally new to coding. I'm trying to make a list (centered), without bullets and without a border. You can see here i'm not succeeding yet. http://bondicreative.com/clients.html I'd like the list to be 8a8a8a color, and centered under the CLIENTS header. Here is how i want it to look: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/07...at103543AM.png Any help? Thanks, Mark removed thank you I have a page that has an image aligned left with padding and text to the right. The text includes a bulleted list. However, the bullets are showing up misaligned with the rest of the text. Please see the attached screenshot. I had a similar problem when I tried to wrap text that included a bulleted list in <blockquote> tags. Thanks! http://www.auroraevansville.org/NewL...ved/index.html is the page that im working on. Notice how the second image is left aligned "yes i know it looks bad that way" the bullets rest on the right side of the image. I was wondering if their was a way to make some space and separate the two. Iv tried to apply v-space and h-space on the image with no luck. Any ideas would be welcomed Thanks You I just finished the rough draft for my new site. Everything looks fine in DW, but in the browser, it's all messed up! Can someone take a look and help me out? Take a look at the bullets about halfway down. http://nextlevelprofits.com/emailsecretsexposed/ Thank you SO much! Hello, I am pretty new to the whole html world so forgive me if this is a simple problem. I have look all over for a post explaing this problem but i haven't found anything. I am making a site for a friend using Dreamweaver. I know i know, i regret not coding it from scratch but its too late now. Anyways I have a pretty good page layout going now but I have ran into a problem with loading my images. On my home page an image in a table nested inside another table will load when viewing in safari but seems to disappear in firefox. What is going on? Its a pretty simple piece of code. I place; <img src="Pictures/RDV couplepalm.jpg" width="200" height="" style="float:right; padding: 8px; margin-left:10px; margin-bottom: 10px" / inside of a paragraph in a row of a table. I have rewritten the code for this image, copied it from a working image and screwed around with the table heights (although I wasn't too sure what i was doing). What else should I try? I have attached screen shots of the site in both browsers a copy of the problem jpeg aswell as a copy of the html. Any information anyone could givee me would be REALLY appreciated! Thank you. Hello all out there in the web world. I'm working on a floral site http://gellingsfloraldesign.com/. Site isn't completely done (specifically the products page). I have validated most of site but there are two things: 1. I'm having issues in FireFox (I think it may have something to do with the left menu repeating but have tried everything I can think of to fix.) 2. I cannot get pages that contain floral images to validate (the image URL is from my main company). For example: http://s7d2.scene7.com/is/image/Tele...ayer=2&opac=55 I checked in Opera, Safari, IE 7 and 8 and things seem to be ok. Hello, im pretty much a newbie and ive been asked to create a website for my friend's small company, anywho, i've been using dreamweaver, the site is as follows. http://www.spire-guild.com/pw/index2.html Perfectly aligned on firefox but has some huge cap on the right side where you open it on I.E Can anyone help me as i really don't know what im doing. Cheers. I have recently designed a website on Google Chrome...And after finishing it and opening it on Firefox and IE, I was surprised by the strange look of my site...The widths and tops and everything of CSS of boxes I did look completely different...I tried to add DOCTYPE and stuff like that and still it makes no sense but makes the same issue with Google Chrome too and when erasing it..The site runs on google chrome properly but not in IE and Firefox...Please help me fixing this problem... My site: http://islamdiaa.selfip.com/ I am new to design but can already tell that a majority of my time is spent on tinkering with my pages to make them appear correctly in the very picky and buggy IE7 while my pages appear just fine in Firefox. I am wondering if anyone knows of a good resource site that lays out tips on how to get around the tricky parts of how IE7 displays pages. Hey Everyone, Brand new to the website and need a little bit of help. I have been working on designing a page for my company through a template which is linked to a cyberstore. I was viewing and testing it in IE...but when we switched to Mozilla firefox it is extremely messed up. The logo has shifted completely. Is there any code that will format the logo to stay in the same place when viewed in both browsers? I am also having a hard time with Mozilla firefox reconizing the roll over states that IE is recongnizing(Thats in the CSS). Any help would be appreciated. -Amanda |
