HTML - Can't Get Use Text Coding In A Div'ed Scroll Box.
Excuse the typo in the subject line...I can't use text coding in a DIV placed Scroll Box.
Hey folks, I'm creating a DIV layout on myspace and it seems as though I can't use the center code or line break codes in my scroll box? Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I've never had this trouble before.... Similar Tutorialshello all, I found a simple effect that make the text scroll vertical which it's prefect for my website. When the typed text exceeds the horizontal space area, cursor will be moved into next line without hitting the Enter key. I am designing a site that uses a size-specific template, therefore, the size cannot change vertically so I have utilized a scroll bar in my body text. <table height="340" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="width:400px;"> <tr> <td><div style="overflow:auto; height:340px; cellpadding:0; width:519px"> body text goes here The scrollbar works fine, but the text butts up right against it. Changing the cellpadding does not give me space between the text and scrollbar, just between the table edge and the scrollbar. [the scrollbar fits inside the table size]. Is there a way to insert extra space between the right side of the text and scrollbar? Thank you for your help! Staci Can anyone help me out? I've set up a test site for a project where I have a scrollable table within an iFrame. Techincally, its an iFrame within an iFrame which gets you to a scrollable table I also added an auto-scroll with anchor-links. Everything finally works, but I really want to remove the horizontal-scroll bar that shows up, while keeping the vertical-scroll bar. It works fine in most browsers but I've noticed that with IE7 the scroll appears in the top part of the margin and not on the browser side. It just doesn't look right. Please advise. He wants to put a banner that's linked back to his site, and then underneath a scroll box which contains the code to put the banner in anywhere. The problem is, whenever I try, and I put the code in the scroll box, it shows the banner, instead of the actual code. How can I stop the banner from showing up? Can somebody download a copy and tell me how to make the orange thing in the middle static so it never scrolls, thanks. http://www.free-css.com/free-css-tem....php#bookmarks Ok I have a dive that scrolls and when i scroll it, it goes behind another div, which is what i want , but the problem is i don't want it to apear on the other side of the div but i still want to see the background. so i was wondering if there is a way i can make the scrolling div go behind another div that is invisible or something and make the scrolling div go invisible at this section so you can still see the rest of the scrolling div, but not the part behind the invisble div. if someone knows how to do this or a more simple way, that does not involve changing the size of the scrolling div as i want the scrollbar to be the height of the page. I added an iframe to my page and I would like to remove the up and down scroll from the page since its not being used (and just leave the side to side scroll). Chris A Hughes Hi, i need to add a box to the bottom of every product page of my site, (latest updates) kind of thing, i thought of an iframe, but it can't have borders, it needs to be invisible, or slight borders but no scroll bars. So i can update the contents of a "updates.htm" file and the results will be reflected on every page the iframe thing is on. kinda the same effect the "latest updates" boxes do on filehippo.com, go to an actual download page and you'll see, latest updates and most popular, i want a similar thing, using css if possible.
